Course Curriculum Overview

I chose this course as it was my most favorite subjects in all. The ratio of student was not much in my department, it was 20 and the teaching staffs was also good at it in there individual subjects. As my college was government so every teacher was good in there jobs.

Class Size: 20Course Fees: INR 50000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees of my department was little high but affordable. If they want to take scholarship then college provide the same for it. We simply need to write a request letter to compensate the fees of the course to principal.

Campus Life

Our life at campus was good as we celebrated among all our faculty members and students. The library is also available with all the facilities needed in order to fulfill the requirements of non affordable students.

Admission

The admission process was to simply have the minimum percentage of 60? in 12 th in order to get eligible for the admission in my college. After getting eligible you will be sortlisted according to the percent/marks scored in 12 th to get the final admission.

SXC Kolkata is a gem of a college.

Placement Experience:

Computers are so vast that masters is mandatory and therefore I have certain plans for that. However big scale IT companies come here and students of Computer science Hons have had placements worth 6-10 lakhs easily. My plans are to appear for the job interviews but not taking any as I want to study more.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum was well-structured, and each semester, there were projects and presentations that also helped to test our knowledge. I got influenced as the curriculum provides us with financial economics, political economics, and Applied mathematics. The level of the exams was decent, related to the course. They could improve in teaching more practical knowledge and projects related to that, instead of only learning in a theoretical way.

Placement Experience:

Placements and job oppurtinities are less since this is an undergraduate college offwering honours degree. Though there is a placement and career councelling cell that looks over this matter. Placements are offered only in a few subjects, such as industrial chemisrty and computer science. The rate of placements are very high and come with high packages. Though I am not interested in placements, but I have started taking preparations for compititive exams. Such preparations are very supported here, rather than jobs and placements.

There is a central admission portal for all the students. After passing 12th you have to apply in that website for college addmission. After selection if want to Join Shibpur Dinobondhu institution you have to pay the addmission fees that's it. You are ready to go.....Read More

The college is just beside the main road so no transportation problem. The faculties are good they help us pretty much. The campus is a bit small. Everybody is very good.
