A true review

I have choose this course because I have interest in Chemical.There are 98 students in my branch and 12 professors are there but they are also involved in other classes so we can assume the faculty to student ratio is approximately 1:20.All of the faculty members of my college are well qualified and have qualified PHD and their teaching methods are satisfying.In one semester of 6 months there are Mid term and End term mid term is taken after 2and half months after the semester starts and at the end End terms are taken. If you will study and attend the class regularly it will easy to paas if not then it will be difficult

In NIT Srinagar internship is not good enough.Since it is situated in Kashmir and there is communication gap due to some problems so not more companies comes here for internship.But now a days our college is doing good.Some local companies and some other companies come here for internship

In my college a decent placement has been seen.From seventh semester students are eligible for college placements.In mt branch Chemical engineering a max package of 13 LPA is seen and an average of 750000 is seen.

The fee structure for a general student including mess fees,hostel fees will be 101000.Scholarships are only for those who's yearly income is under 500000 ,they can apply for scholarship according to their yearly income certificate.There is bank in our campus so if any student want to take loan they can apply easily.At the end of 7th semester most of the student those who have good grades and knowledge get placements.Some of the scholarship are NPA.

We have good facilities in our hostel.in one room 4 students and each one have their personal Almira.Meal quality is very good.You can apply for hostel online on the official website of NIT Srinagar.I have not ranted for PG so I have not idea of this

To take admission in NIT Srinagar a student have to appear in JEE Mains and have secure a good rank.For Chemical engineering the max rank should be 73000.The application form is available on the official site of NTA that is jeemain.nta.nic.in and the application fees for general category is 1000(application fees may be increase so you can check the fees on NTA website given above).Fill the application form according to your caste to enjoy the reservation benefits.
