Through conducting many exams they increase the stress of students
Some students felt a need for improved communication between administration and students.

Course Curriculum Overview

I have a slight interest in designing and drawing so iam choose this course. When I take this course in Jyothi engineering college I can learn more about the course and i can improve my skills and ability. The faculty of our college is very helpful to encourage students enthusiasm and their skills. Most of the faculty members have masters degrees and PhD's. In our college for improving the academic they conduct series exams and module test and these improve the memory of the students

Class Size: 56Course Fees: INR 26000 per year

Internships Opportunities

In our college they provide lots of internship program to encourage students skills and ability. In civil engineering they provide a internship in Kerala startup mission and the IIIC of tata group of our college provide many internship programs to the students.

Placement Experience

Students become eligible for campus placements from the seventh semester onwards. But the placement for civil engineering is less than other department. Most of the company's are seeking for computer science department and the related ones. There is no core company is coming up with placement offers. Personally my plans involves placed any suitable job and making financial stability.

Fees and Financial Aid

For regular students they gave 44,000 per semester as fees for this course and for lateral entry students 18,000 per semester is the fees. But for merit seats and under sc/st or OBH category they got government scholarships. Iam OBH category so i got scholarship thus i don't want to pay any academic fees.

Campus Life

Life on campus is vibrant and engaging. Social life thrives through various events and gatherings. The annual fest is a celebration of culture and talents, takes place in February, while the tech fest, "Tarang," showcasing innovation, held in November.The library is well-stocked with a diverse collection of books and journals, catering to academic needs. The infrastructure supports a conducive learning environment, with modern amenities in classrooms. For sports enthusiasts, there's a range of facilities, promoting both physical fitness and teamwork.

Admission

Iam a lateral entry student and so iam got the admission for btech through lateral entry exam. Iam heard about the lateral entry scheme for btech in my college where i studied for diploma. After that exam the rank list are published and i got admitted in Jyothi engineering college. I have got admission through Merit quota so i get scholarship for my acadamics.

Life at CET

Placement Experience:

The placement cell of the college is very active. You can get internships starting 2nd year and placements starting 3rd year. About 75% of people get placed. Many MNCs like Texas Instruments are consistent hirers. The highest package of 2025 for my course is 1 crpa. The average is about 7 lpa. A student can get 5,6 offers. I plan on higher studies abroad because I want to learn more in-depth about the course.

Students are eligible for placement from the 7th semester and internship from 3rd semester. You can apply for internship on your own right from first semester but college gives aid from 3rd semester. The major recruiter is ISRO which offers 40-45 jobs for aerospace engineering. Also other companies like CDac Airbus Boeing and DRDO and HAL visit for recruitment. Nearly 85-90% students get placed while some opt for Higher education and research too. My primary goal is to get into ISRO also I will be preparing for gate examination to complete my IIT dream.

Remarks:

I only have postive thoughts about that campus. The campus helped me to remove my pre-occupations, inhibitions, fear etc. It gave a lot of memorable moments, large number of friends. As my college doesn't promote any festivals or celebrations its top most priority is to provide quality education to their students. Good Campus and enjoyed the time in there.

We had a common exam for the admissions. And the rank in the exam determines which college we get to study. I was trying to get into the government college. But didn't had enough rank to get the set. Actually when I was writing my boards I paid 10000 and they asked me to block myself a seat. They kept two conditions two score above 85 percentage in 12th and keam should be qualified.i happened to get both so after that I went back to college they gave me a check list of documents to bring for registration. I bought those they registered me in.
