- mess food is very bad . we have to eat it to survive
- college is in south . language problem beacuse 60-70% students are from south.
- I don't like grading system in iit hyderabad.
Course Curriculum Overview
I choose this course because I am interested in reasearch field and another reason is my low jee advanced rank.In IIT Hyderabad there are 12 faculty for biomedical engineering(as per my knowledge). Faculties are highly qualified and are very supportive . Some of the faculties comes under top 1 or 2% faculties in the world. There are 2 exams each semester one mid sem and 2nd one final exam.
Internships Opportunities
there are summer internship program, research internship . Actually I don't know much about internship and placement as I am first year undergraduate here. But internship opportunties are avaialable here.
Placement Experience
Students are eligible for placements from prefinal year or seventh semester. Approximately 74% of the student are placed in IIT hyderabad. Highest package is approximately 65 lakh. Average is around 21 lakh.
Fees and Financial Aid
Total fees of btech at IITH cost around 12 lakhs. It includes Hostel fees , mess fees , hospitality fees and tution fees. Mess fees cost around 16319 rupees for each semester. Hostel costs rupees 15000 for each semester. Tution fees is exactly 100000 rupees. Total cost rupees 142819.5 for each semester.
Campus Life
IITH annual fest name is Elan & nvision . There is interdepartmental fest here named "Diesta" in which both sports and cultural event takes place .There is also interhostel fest named "Milaan" which also takes place same as Diesta. A new sports complex is built in which it has different ground for diiferent sports.
Hostel Facilities
Hostel room consists of one fan , one study table , one chair , one bed and one almirah. There is no AC provided. Room has high speed LAN. The name of my current hostel is Ramanuja which is given to all the btech freshers every year. We have double sharing room in first year. Mess food is okay . They provide food at morning , afternoon , evening(they charge for food) and night.
Admission
You have to clear jee mains then jee advanced. You have to fill jee mains form if you qualify jee mains then you have to give jee advanced and have to clear jee advanced. You can Avail reservation benefits.
