i was intrested in the architecture course a lot.faculty are highly qualified.teaching methods are new.mid exams are conducted before the semester exams.easy to handle the exams but a lot pressure should be taken in this course.as architecture students dont have good time and sleep.

Class Size: 64Course Fees: INR 41667 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

fee in national institute are according to the student financial status that is the annual income of the family.scholarship can bee get from the NSP-national scholarship portal.job placements are little difficult for the architecture students

Campus Life

campus life is best in national institutes.as they give lot of independence to the student.sports, music, dance, fashion, adventure, academic and so extra clubs are in active in the institute for the students.the extra curricular activities and fests are conducted highly.

Hostel Facilities

there are eleven hostels for men and two hostels for women.the total capacity of all the hostels currently is more than 6000. there is an separate hostels for international students and guest accomadations are also available. accomodation for parents are also available.

Hostel Fee: INR 55000 per year

Admission

I took admission from jee mains.application can be downloaded from jee main official website.there are a benefits in reservations like sc,st,obc and gen-ews.after ranking in the examination JOSAA councelling will be started for the college admission.

life in a campus

Likes

having a best campus life there, high-quality programs are providing
high-quality education, and giving more opportunities to develop our skills
full green campus giving peacefull evinornment

Dislikes

faculties make semester more difficult by giving projects that they dont even have an idea about
some of the faculties have some passuality
strong management and all, but sometimes they are not approachable

we needed to attend a internship program of 100 days in semester 7,thats actually helps to have a real life experience and also get a training before we graduate .also now in semester 9 we need to attend a spetial caurse ,that we can choose based on our intrest , which helps to develop our skills and will have a estra cerfication also.

The teaching method are student friendly .Easier to understand

Number of students in one class is 40.There is only ome batch
canteen facility is needs to be improved
College maintains a healthy environment but infrastructure is average

In first year it is more practical works as basic design includes modeling, paper works, sketching etc...helps to development conceptual, understanding skills. From 4th semester onwards digital works starts. For that provide a class period of cad,revit softwares etc

The admission process of the college was help on the basis of test in which I appeared. The tests were KEAM and NATA. Online forms come every year through which a student got the chance to take admission in such a reputed college.

Admission:

Selection to B.Arch programme is based purely on merit. Selection will be done by SSA giving due weightage to the marks obtained in 10+2 examination and the NATA score. Merit is the only criterion for selection.

Remarks:

The College and College hostel won't let them use phones. Even though phones are allowed in hostels as per government rule. The College is a little strict and still treats us like school students. But the College is free in some terms but controlled a lot.

My college is not so good to live a life in college. It is okay just for study and not for any extra curricular activities so i dont actually prefer my college for a creative student who wants to explore.

I chose this college because of strong reputation , good placements and quality of education. I applied to other NITs and state engineering colleges and received some admissions,but selected this college because I preffered Electrical Engineering. In some higher ranked colleges, I was getting lower-preference branches,so I chose a good branch in a good college instead. Admission is based on the JEE Main score through JoSAA counselling. Life at NITC by Vimosh Kumar

I wanted to get into Mechanical Engineering in any of the top NIT's so applied for all the NIT's in the NIRF ranking order with mechanical in every college so after the counselling happened to get into NIT Calicut. The admission process is through JoSAA Counselling where students come to the college after getting alloted but before that the student needs to clear the JEE Main Exam to get admitted into the college.
