I choose civil engineering because I was interested in buildings and drawing plans than programming and circuits. About civil department in TKMCE, it is the most strictest and disciplined department. They provide us the best faculties. They initially divide students into groups and each advisors are incharge of each group. The advisors are guided by senior advisor. And senior advisors are guided by HOD. Most of the faculties are IIT graduates and phd holders. Everyone is well qualified. Each faculties teaches well and the topics are clear. We usually has 2 series examinations before the final examwhich makes the end sem exam easier

They usually provide good intership oppertynities. Companies like Microsoft,amazon also provide internship opportunities. High institutions like IITalso provide internship opportunities.these interships include autocad classes, workshops, python programmes etc. These are usually conducted in online mode and it makes easier for students.

There are many companies approaching TKMCE like gulf asia, larsen and tuobro, sobhas construction, Sutherland, tata consultancy services etc. Almost everystudebts could get a good placement graduating from here

Tkmce has won many inter college competitions. Tkmce provide training to cricket, football, badminton, handball, hockey, chess, athletics etc. In our syllabus there is also a subject named Sports And Yoga. Tkmce develops healthy engineers

But students belonging to Sc, St , OEC has more benefits. Students belonging to these categories doent have to pay academic fees, exam fees etc. TKMCE also provide various scholarship for all students irrespective of reservation
