The campus has a pleasant surrounding and faculty and teachers are excellent but having said, it can work on its placements and infrastructure.
Entrance Preview
I didnt write any entrance exam. There was no interview. Selection was based on 12th result. I liked economics hence chose economics hons.
Course Curriculum Overview
Curriculum was very strategic they made sure to give us proper learning without much stress. The classes held timely . Labs classes were provided as per requirement of the subject. We were given assignments that needed lot of research .
Internships Opportunities
No internships were provided for our courses by the college. But college provided unpaid internship for other few courses.
Placement Experience
Though many well established corporation came to DRC for placement. Placement was not that good. Only a few got placed in my department.
College Events
Manjari , the annual cultural fest of DRC is a prodigious event which every student look forward to attend. it is a 2 day celebration. On the first day various competitions such as western dance , folk dance, semi classical and classical face off took place . on the second day musical competitions along with promenade by debonair held and superstar Guru Randhawa and Tulsi Kumar were the limelight of the event
Fee Structure And Facilities
Fee structure is remarkably affordable. i paid 6500 as annual fee in first year. It escalated to 11000 in second year and for the final i paid 14000 in Indian currency.
Fees and Financial Aid
Yes, DRC provide scholarship to students who excel in studies . I have not heard about loan provisions by the college.
Campus Life
DRC has the vast network of cultural societies. zenith , the western dance society , debonair , fashion society, Annhad, classical dance society and spectra, society for the fine arts etc . They provide an outstanding platform and opportunities to the students to showcase their talent.
Hostel Facilities
Yes, DRC has a huge hostel campus with all luxury and comfort . The rooms are ventilated , well lit and equipped with all the facilities . The fees ranges between 32000-35000k annualy.
Alumni/Alumna
we do not have any such platform for alumni interaction. however I have seen pass out students visiting college often to pay regards to the college and faculty.
Exam Structure
Delhi University has the most chill culture . It conducts the exam semester wise before which we have internals that consist 25 marks of the subject . 5 marks of internals are titled to attendance. Internals were taken during the class hours and test were conducted in brief. Labs classes were carried out after the classes and when there were labs number of classes were decreased.
Faculty
The faculty was exceptionally qualified . All of them either had a degree of Ph.D or at least did their M .phill was so much inspired by some of the teachers for their remarkable knowledge and unparalleled dedication. They all were very cooperative and reflected amiable behaviour.
