The college is located in a slightly remote area bus connectivity is not frequent there are cheap accommodation near the college as PG and food is also available at cheap rates. The college can be chosen if you want quality education at less fees the coll

The course was pretty tough it followed the old REC style it had several management subjects like supply chain management, operational research and marketing management other core electives were Tools ad die, automobile engg and Heat transfer.

There was no official internship in our college one has to take initiative and do it on their own i did my internship in HAL the certificate after internship was useful for placements and several questions were based on my internship.

There were only 2 core companies who came for mechanical engineers mahindra and ELGI who offeed 4.5L and 3.2L respectively other than these IT companies took around 250 of 400 students in the campus. The major recruiter was TCS offering 3.2L. Besides Wipro and UST also came.

Every year an auto fest is organised by the mechanical dept similar events are organised by other departments also there is one cultural event other than this, college elections are a stand out point college union is pretty active to help out the students with their needs.

Fees at my time was approx 6000 per year hostel fees was around 12000 per year it might have doubled by now since I was a day scholar i dont have a good idea about mess fees it cannot be more than 100Rs per day.

Scholarships are given to students with poor financial backgrounds by the alumni of the college apart from this, there are several other scholarships provided based on academic performance loan facility is available at the nearest bank at low rates.

We had a 1:1 gender ratios in all other branches except mechanical engg there were regular sports competitions separately for cricket, football and basketball apart from this there used to be yearly sports meet, which was very well supported by the college with marks all inter college cultural events were also supported by the university.

Hostel is okay it is old and hence one might take some time to adjust to it the mess food is good students used to love the food.

Alumni network is very good and helpful seniors are helpful even now the graduates of first batch visit the campus regularly to guide the new students the first batch passed out in 1965.

Exams are conducted once every 6 months apart from this, there might be a few assignments given by certain professors the atmosphere is pretty chilled out it never gets hectic.

The faculty is one of the best in kerala with more than a decade of teaching experience there are some notable faculties who will inspire us in working in that subject further.
