Likes

The first thing i like the college is faculty and infrastructure
Also the college library is well furnished and structured and having various books
Also the canteen and lp area is of great importance to the college

Dislikes

The thing i disliked is the extra burden on students
Also the boundations of administration over various issue
And the limited library hours also disappoints me

I have choosed computer science honours from hansraj college Delhi university as I want to pursue my career in technical field. The faculty of college is doing great and the student ratio is 70:30.the teacher are highly qualified and their teaching method is effective and persuading.the exam are on semester bases and I the student have studied properly then they can clear the exam

Placement Experience

Students became eligible for placements from 6th semester and campus offer placements in esteemed companies. Companies like Google,technoz etc visit offering avg of 5-8lacs packages. And the selection rate is also good enough to be considered. After getting degree I will plan for foreign studies .

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure of my particular course is quite high that is 52800 per annum that is too high and also the residential charge and all is too exorbitant for a middle class family to sustain their educational background. Right now I haven't got any scholarship or internship from college

Campus Life

The life at college is great and campus is to be explored for sure.. The annual fest of hansraj the food fest and NSS mela all are good and exciting events enjoyed by the students.also the library contian enormous number of books and journals and classes are well ventilated along with AC and smart boards, projectors.the sports ground is good to be used for various games. The basketball and volleyball court are always occupied .there are various social media handles and sites run by college for syudents

Admission

Actually as right now I am pursuing bachelor of sciences in computer science from hansraj college Delhi university. Admission process is through common university entrance test (cuet) from official government site samarth.in .the eligibility of course is physics chemistry maths along with a language. I have chose English and the scored 789/800. For any application information one need to just go to samarth.in website.it is a good procedure but the hecticity of the exam schedule should be resolved and CBT mode should also be revised with both cbt and offline mode

KMC the life of wonders

Placement Experience:

The placements have been decent throughout the past years, around 40% of the students get placed through on campus placements. From the final year itself , the students are eligible for placements. The highest package went around 18-20 LPA while average package was around 5-6 LPA. While the packages are exceptionally high the companies that came for recruitment were also big firms like airtel, blinkit, zepto, EY, McKinsey, google, meta ,zoho, etc. The top positions that were offered included many interim heads and assisstant positions.

My views on KMC . A final year student

Course Curriculum Overview:

Our course (B.Sc Hons. Mathematics ) is more focused towards descriptive and theoritical method since my course belong to pure mathematics along with that I have statistics in my generic elective (GE) which is more application based. Our course is structured more towards reseach part. Whereas the commerce and economics courses are more relevant to practical industry knowldege. The usual struture is divided into two part in each sem generally known as end and mid sem exam. Whereas there exist weekly and monthly examination which majorly depends upon the teaching style of the faculty.

Reality of a top North campus college - Kirori mal College

Placement Experience:

The placement offered in our college is decent. All the third year and fourth year students are allowed to sit in the placement process.the placement process starts from July and continue till next year's june, Top companies which visited are - D.E, Shaw , Accenture , LEK capibilities network , ZS associates. Kirori mal college a nice college filled with greenery and enthusiasm

Placement Experience:

The placement in this college is good.Many companies come to the college to give placements.the students who are from fifth or sixth semester are eligible for campus selection and can sit in interviews taken by companies.The companies .like Wipro, Amazon, PwC, Deloitte, Accenture, McKinsey & company, Zomato, EY, etc. come to the college.according to previous record companies provide 176 offers.The highest package offered was rupees 23.05 LPA and the average package offered was rrupees 7.25 LPA.Last year 172 students get placements via campus placement.My plan is to go for post graduation after getting this degree.

Harsh Truth about Hansraj

I applied for srcc, hasraj and hindu college, and i got hansraj college which was my second reference in the list but i could not made into other college due to my lack of timings, like i was a passed out of last year 2023 -24 batch and last year in our ways of admission process cut off was less so it could have been possible for me to get into srcc.
