Better place to learn life.Faculty student relation is very strong.Principal is very cooperative. Our college has given more facilities except in placement and internship.
Entrance Preview
I have qualified GATE exam. Based on that I got admission at MEA Engineering College. Yes, interview was there. I choose power electronics and drives because I absolutely love studying it and consider it my best subject.
Course Curriculum Overview
I genuinely enjoyed and feel motivated to learn more. Practical learning was excellent. Yes, research initiatives was there from college side. And also I got an opportunity as a gust lecture of same College, so I got 1 year experience in lecture.
Internships Opportunities
We expected internship from this college. But no internships were provided by the college. They have to take care of it. Now new university KTU has provided in all engineering college in Kerala They have an opportunity to have an internship.
Placement Experience
Placement was not much satisfactory. 20% of students got placed. PK steels. 4lakh per annum. Placement has given much importance to UG students.
College Events
MEA Engineering College was most chill in colourful programmes. One of the sports event ws condutected in last year "TRIBUTE TO INDIAN ARMY" which become famous in all media. Our college has stand first in social work conducted "MEHAR" programmes. THe aim of this program to orphan girls leading to future life through marriage. Other Arts workshops under IEEE has condutect in every year.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Fees for PG students different from UG students. There is no much highlighted in PG course. As I am GATE qualified, I got stipend. So fees was not a much problem for me. And also I got salary as a part of guest lecture.
Fees and Financial Aid
Yes. Students with good academic background will have reduced yearly fees. Yes, college help in getting loans. Scholarship is granted to all students on the basis of their situation.
Campus Life
Extra curricular activities are there like football team, cricket team, badminton team are conducted in hostels as a competition. Also many other workshop, seminar classes and motivation classes are conducted in every year to improve skills and personal development. Also we have best NSS technical cell.
Hostel Facilities
In first semester I was a hostler. There were no single rooms in hostel. They don't have PG's. 6000 rs for 6 months as room rent plus mess bill. Food was almost good. As a PG students there was no seperate room for it was shared with UG students.
Alumni/Alumna
Alumni Asociation (MEAAA) is oranganised in our college. But it is too weak to interact with students as alumni There is no such a platform to share my experienece with our younger sisters and brothers.
Exam Structure
It was a chill culture. I haven't attended may exams conducted by faculty foe some situation. But i am make up through several test and performance in academics.
Faculty
MEA Engineering college is having a well qualified and experienced faculties. Most of them have 5+ years in teaching. They are friendly and make our atmosphere so suitable I teaching. I am so friendly to my faculties and i made my own project work with the help of my guide. They are loving too.
