Likes
- The Societies are an amazing experience especially if you can get Enactus, Consulting or Debating Society
- The Peers are a mix bag, There is a ton of diversity
- Canteen food is awesome and also frugal, You can easily dine in on campus on a budget
Dislikes
- Infrastructure needs development, Classes don't have ACs or projectors
- Professors Cancel classes at last minute
- The curriculum of NEP isn't really implemented well, You have SEC, VAC, AEC but none of them are taught well so they become a burden
Course Curriculum Overview
All faculty are Mphil/PhD, the faculty student ratio is around 1:12, Some teach well some don't, Ultimately you have to study by yourself. Exams are conducted after 4 months. The university is rushing things so it's a bit hectic
Fees and Financial Aid
The fees is very affordable around 16k per year, However the cost of living in Delhi might be high for some people, Many government schemes for scholarship but the anount is not good and they are mostly for girls or reserved categories
Campus Life
The North Campus life is very active, College is filled with societies and something is going on all year long, The infrastructure though is outdated, classes don't have ACs and it's very uncomfortable to sit in class for long hours. Sports and extra curricular activities are active
Admission
Admission is through CUET Exam conducted by NTA, You have to give the exam and then fill the form for Delhi University, Then a preference list window will open and you have to fill the courses you want ranking them by choice. After all this you would be allocated a seat based on your score and preference, You have option to upgrade,freeze or do nothing and it will be cancelled, Press on upgrade if you want to get a college course of higher preference or freeze if you are satisfied with what you got
