Course Curriculum Overview

2

I choose this I have interest in chemistry. Good faculty is in less number. More of the faculty member just come to class and starting with out gaining the output from the students that they are getting what they are teaching.

Internships Opportunities

3

In my course I don't know about the placements. But yes there is nice opportunity for the internship and all. If anyone wants to learn chemistry practically then he/ she consider it. The labs are decent .

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees of BSC chemistry hons from hansraj college is comparitvely more than the other colleges. There are scholarship also, but for some reserved students only. Hansraj college provide good placements but CS and other departments.

Campus Life

3.5

From recent years no fest is taking place in Hansraj College. The condition of classroom are average. The library of college is pretty good. And there are good amount of books in the library. There are many grps run by the students especially for north east students.

Admission

The eligibility of the was we have to opt physics, chemistry and maths in 12th . You can find the on the website of cuet. First you have to give cuet. Then you have to apply on the website of DU. Then the list come.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course is too good. As my course is life sciences so instead of learning about only one core subject like in botany hons and zoology hons course, we get chance to learn about zoology, botany and chemistry simultaneously. That Also unlock a large no. of opportunities for my future. Acc to me the ratio of practical lab and theory classes should be increased like we only get 1 lab for one core subjects in a week so I think this no. Should be increased so that we can get more practical knowledge. The difficulty level of exams are too much High like it seems we're hons course students that should be decreased.

Campus placements are for commerce background mostly, usually in 3rd year you might see some placements. I don't know exactly about thr company who visited because I wasn't enrolled in that particular course. Campus placements percentage is very low to be honest . 10-20% mostly. I'll pursue masters.
