Likes

The college has a really good science campus with good professors.
The playground is above average and the canteen food is quite good.
The college has good alumnus also like Raveesh Kumar, ex-spokeperson of MEA

Dislikes

The college has a strict vegetarian food policy
It has a below average auditorium with inadequate size of the stage.
The flag that was hoisted by Sir Naveen Jindal is not there anymore. Also the entry and exit occurs only from one gate.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course is quite hectic and is relevant for this tech-savvy era. The faculty is also quite good but often they dont take into consideration the practical aspects of computer science.The placements are average but you have to develop extra skills. ONly academic skills would not suffice

Internships Opportunities

Our college has internship opportunities from various fintech companies like KPMG and other companies like Zomato Coding NInjas etc. The trend of fintech companies is higher and the I-Cell and P-Cell makes sure of good internship oppurtuniites

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee is quite reasonable compared to that of other engineering colleges. It will give many GATE aspirants ample oppurtunity to bloom and score well in the exams. In my course there are many scholarship oppurtunities like DELL scholarship etc. The college has really good societies also

Campus Life

There are many accomodations like PGs, flats etc. I live in a PG and the social life is quite good. Some students are quite dedicated in terms of academics and there is a prevalent trend of UPSC aspirants

Hostel Facilities

My monthly rent is 13,500 rupees monthly and its a two-sharing bedroom with attached bathroom and wi-fi also. We also have complimentary laundry service and have snacks facilities also. But we order food from Khushboo Vaishnoo Dhaba after all.

Hostel Fee: INR 90000 per year

Admission

I applied and gave the exam CUET-(Common University Entrance Test) where I scored 712 out of 800. My course has English and mathematics as mandatory and other two high score subjects and these 4 subjects are considered for the total aggregate. The cutoff for Unreserved people is near 680 for this year. It may rise further also.

KMC the life of wonders

Placement Experience:

The placements have been decent throughout the past years, around 40% of the students get placed through on campus placements. From the final year itself , the students are eligible for placements. The highest package went around 18-20 LPA while average package was around 5-6 LPA. While the packages are exceptionally high the companies that came for recruitment were also big firms like airtel, blinkit, zepto, EY, McKinsey, google, meta ,zoho, etc. The top positions that were offered included many interim heads and assisstant positions.

The placements of KIRORI MAL COLLEGE had shown a much outgrowth over the years. The students become eligible for college placements by the final year itself. My views on KMC . A final year student

Course Curriculum Overview:

Our course (B.Sc Hons. Mathematics ) is more focused towards descriptive and theoritical method since my course belong to pure mathematics along with that I have statistics in my generic elective (GE) which is more application based. Our course is structured more towards reseach part. Whereas the commerce and economics courses are more relevant to practical industry knowldege. The usual struture is divided into two part in each sem generally known as end and mid sem exam. Whereas there exist weekly and monthly examination which majorly depends upon the teaching style of the faculty.

Reality of a top North campus college - Kirori mal College

The placement offered in our college is decent. All the third year and fourth year students are allowed to sit in the placement process.the placement process starts from July and continue till next year's june, Top companies which visited are - D.E, Shaw , Accenture , LEK capibilities network , ZS associates. Kirori mal college a nice college filled with greenery and enthusiasm

Placement Experience:

The placement in this college is good.Many companies come to the college to give placements.the students who are from fifth or sixth semester are eligible for campus selection and can sit in interviews taken by companies.The companies .like Wipro, Amazon, PwC, Deloitte, Accenture, McKinsey & company, Zomato, EY, etc. come to the college.according to previous record companies provide 176 offers.The highest package offered was rupees 23.05 LPA and the average package offered was rrupees 7.25 LPA.Last year 172 students get placements via campus placement.My plan is to go for post graduation after getting this degree.

Harsh Truth about Hansraj

I applied for srcc, hasraj and hindu college, and i got hansraj college which was my second reference in the list but i could not made into other college due to my lack of timings, like i was a passed out of last year 2023 -24 batch and last year in our ways of admission process cut off was less so it could have been possible for me to get into srcc.
