Course Curriculum Overview

I have a lot interest in electronic and communication engineering and also want to work in the hardware field so i chose this course and the faculty members are quite good but not upto that satisfactory level

Class Size: 80Course Fees: INR 94000 per year

Internships Opportunities

Many software and hardware companies provide opportunities for intership and there are many projects related to web designing car design and even project related to finance and management the stipend generally ranges from 1000 to 2000 per month

Placement Experience

The placement related preparation generally starts from the 7th semester and the package as i said before if below 4 to 5 lakhs per annum so yeah that I think is a minimum a engineering college must provide

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees was in the start of my admission was 84000 but in one year it became 94000 so there was good hike but the campus job opportunities are limited and the average package is also less than 400000 per annum and I only got 1 scholarship assistance

Campus Life

There is no shortage of fests every month we can witness a or two fest organised by different clubs of FIEM . Talking about the infrastructure I could give it a rating of 4 out of 10 because the campus is too small and there is limited opportunities for sports

Admission

The admission process was through the wbjee examination and the cutoff rank was 60000 but my rank was 26000 but I oove the course ECE so getting the opportunity to study in FIEM I just simply grabbed it

Placement Experience:

Well as far as mh knowledge students get to placements from 6th semester itself . Well there are placement classes from 3rd semester itself . The placement track record of the college is quite good with most year about 90% gets placed with good companies comming like Deloitte, EY GDS , JP MORGAN, Oracle , offering high amount of placement offers like around 20+ lpa . Well I am not sure about my plans maybe if the palacement is good I'll take it or will be preparing for GATE (Whose courses are also provided from college .)

GOOD College at low fees.

Placement Experience:

Placement of my college are quite good with a avg package of 6 to 7 lpa and higest package of 45 lpa and this year the higest package is 75 lpa. The companies visited in my college are infosys, Capgemini,tcs,wipro, Mindtree,IBM, sometimes amazon also.The placement rate of the college is 85 to 95%.

Course Curriculum Overview:

the cirricullum is quite relevent and comprehensive . BTECH program especially CSE includes specializations like data sciene , cybersecurity, IOT, etc . Exams are held twice in a semester . the college could include hand on learning through workshop , industry project and interships .

our college average package is 600000 per Anum and highest package is 1800000 per Anum according to recent data. and 80% of student got placed . And wipro , windows, tcs , siemens , tata like companies come to our college for placement. Core students are also got placed but many of them goes for hihger studies.

Placement Experience:

From the 3rd year onwards , students become eligible for internships and stepping in 4th yr , students get eligible for campus placement. Techno provides decent campus placements according to your marks. Good marks also with skills get you better salary. Minimum 7.5 cgpa is mandatory to have you sit for campus placements. The lowest package is 3.4 LPA and highest vary but students also get 14LPA easily. Wipro, tcs ,cap ,gemini, amazon , ibm etc.

The prosperous and happenning university - West Bengal University of animal and fisheries Sciences

Placement Experience:

After 6th semester student become eligible for the campus placements. Amul(GCMF) , Mother Dairy, Vidya Dairy, Bhagirathi cooperative, Wamul, ITC are the company's visited and they provide good packages according to the students work in interview. After getting the degree I would pursue my hair studies in Mtech Food Technology from IIT or go to MBA course from IIM. My main goal is to get NDRI National Dairy Research Institute which is top institute for imparting dairy and veterinary courses for MTech Dairy Technology. 70 to 80% of the students are being placed and the packages very from 20 lakh per anum to 40 lakh per annum. After getting BTech degree most of the students preferred to go for higher studies and job. Research line is open for our course. Most girls prefer higher studies and research line and most boys prefer for job.

FIEM - The Nooks and Corners !

There were few colleges I applied to based on my WBJEE ranks . There was St. thomas college, techno college , heritage , msit and many more . If you know the way of how WBJEE admissions work , you will know we need to give a list of college and they would choose according to our preference and rank . Now according to that , I got this college . Well, if telling why I didn't get applied in other colleges which were much better it was due to my WBJEE rank , which was not that upto mark . Talking about the admission process , its just following the process of WBJEE admissions and on admission day providig the necessary documents needed by the college which will be informed ( or maybe we need to know) . If we talking about cut offs it changes every year so we need to look after it from previous years' cut off list . Also , you need to have atleast a good percent in both ICSE and ISC for admission....Read More
