Likes

Exposures are more, different different society according to your hobbies, everyone is friendly and helpful
Canteen, food cost quite normal as compared to other North campus colleges
Campus, Ramjas College campus is very large.. there are 5,6 lawns to sit and chill , greenery, gym etc.

Dislikes

Politics. Personally I don't like politics.
Infrastructure. Some classroom infrastructure is still old, improvement is required.
Fest. Ramjas College didn't organise official college fest

I am a biology student.. In 12th class (intermediate) I took physics , chemistry, biology.. i like biology subject, I wanted to be a doctor buttt..so I chose Bsc. (Hons) Zoology... I got Ramjas College and i am happy with that. Faculty members is very good.

Class Size: 80Course Fees: INR 21000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

I am currently pursuing Bs.(hons.) Zoology from Ramjas College, Delhi University. Fee structure is quite affordable and is is different for other courses. I didn't got any scholarship till now as I belong to scheduled caste. Recently Delhi University released its own scholarship program

Campus Life

College life is best in Ramjas College, not only in Ramjas College you got any North campus of Delhi University, your college life gonna amazing. Irrespective of study here you've learnt a lot. Here you will see lots of diversity in students and their culture, unfortunately Ramjas College didn't do any fest in last few years. Library is average.. You may find almost all books in Library. Customs are good but without AC , canteen is available.

Admission

Admission process was CUET. You should be 12th pass out. I got the college through CUET exam.. I got reservation benefits for the Ramjas College. The challenging part was selecting college according to your preference list.

A college review full of pros and cons

Course Curriculum Overview:

The core subjects are very well divided, the main problem arises with the other additional subjects which requires efforts as same as the other subject even though they don't hold any importance as such. Maybe reducing other subject or making them practical based instead of theory based would be helpful.

Though i think maths is a great subject as it is what gives birth to every field but within course it self its all theory and pure maths i thing real application would be appreciated we do have practical for 1 subject each sem thats it should he more.

The Life of A DRC student

Placement Experience:

The placements of my college are moderate as the average package is ?6.5 lakhs and the highest package is around ?23.02 lakhs . Many prestigious companies like delloite, accenture have held various placement sessions in DRC and it's overall a good to place for companies to get high skilled students. The placement cell is very active too which makes it possible for our college to get many internships and placements opportunities.

i think it's very outdated and not of any practical use unless you go for research and scientific fields of science. it does not prepare much for the real world and current market but teaches about biology and chemistry which helps sometimes. the frequency if exam is fine.

Campus Life:

The Fest organised by this college is Priyadarshini and the annual fest Rajnigandha. The Fest are not great in comparison to other du college and are not that much celebrated. There are many different kinds books present in library like literature,Hindi, Chemistry, Maths, zoology, biology, botany, political science, History Geography the books are only alloted till 12pm and only for 15 days after that you will be charged if book is not returned Sports and Extracurricular are good but classrooms are not that great most projectors in classrooms don't work . There are many good societies in college like jamini the art society and others but joining has caused students to leave their classes which affects them academically

KMC- Path to learn and grow

Placement Experience:

The placements cell Avenues regarding the placement offers coming to the college. Major companies of the job market come to the campus for recruitment like KPMG, deloitte, zepto, EY, ZS Associates and many more. The students from the final year itself gets eligible for placements. Around 30-40% students get the palcements through the placement drive. The highest package during the last palcement season was around 18 to 20LPA, while the average was 7 to 8LPA. I will certainly go for higher studies in operational research.
