Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

Course Curriculum is up to date according to New Education Policy 2020.I chosed my stream as default as we have to study circuital as well as core subjects so we have more scope to switch between the subjects during the placements season.Exams are on time and it's of moderate level as per the Govt. College exams are

Placement Experience

3

Due to the recession going on and the covid pandemic,Placements were affected a bit but at a level the avg. placement is decent 3-4lpa.Here,core branches get more opportunities and good placements than the circuital branches like CS,IT,ECE.

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees structure is not so much but for me(low middle class), It's much more than that and also we don't get much scholarship schemes so that we can manage our financial situation.Only few like Reliance, Siemens where competition is too high to get the scholarship so I want to see more scholarship opportunities especially for General boys candidates who are not getting benefitted in any ways

Campus Life

4

Campus is too large and greenery everywhere but there is not much place to visit nearby so there should be the development of the inside campus like Parks,Gym,Sports Complex where improvement is needed.Clubs here are much more experienced they taught us to behave talk and during the screening process we have to gone through serious questions which makes us more supportive towards our placement interviews.

Hostel Facilities

4

It's a state govt. college so what we expect not the efficient facilities but yeah all the basic things are there but the hostel incharge ignores sometimes the serious problems inside the hostel.Meal is average

Admission

The admission process is decent we just have to fulfil the eligibility criteria and your JEE Mains Scorecard is up to the mark all the required documents have to be submitted before the deadline.I wasn't supposed to get this college rather I thought I am supposed to get into NIT(Jamshedpur) but due to the General Category and ofc high fees I didn't fulfil my dream as a default get into this college.Actually here also reservation dominates almost 30% seats reserved for SCs/STs and here student get more favoured as EWS than the OBC candidate.20% seats are reserved for female quota.I want to see the improvement in digitalizing the admission procedure and will not have to come to college twice to confirm our seat by submitting the acknowledgement letter offline.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I will rate the course curriculum decent because it cover the basic engineering concepts that made me choose this course and it prepare us okay for real-world or higher study, but still more practical work and updated teaching method needed, and exams come mostly every semester with some internals which are moderate tough but manageable with regular study. There are some teachers who teach very well and have good teaching methods.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I feel the course curriculum is okay and the basics are covered well, which is one reason I choose this branch, but some subjects feel outdated and not fully connected to real industry work. It prepare us for further studies more than practical jobs. Exams come every semester with internals in between, difficulty is moderate but few papers become tricky. I think more practical topics, updated labs and better teaching methods will make the curriculum more useful...

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum exam ready for students of mechanical engineering it focuses on industrial level exposure and for other competitive exams like gate and IES with good faculty who teaches almost all concepts. There are labs for each subject in which we get real world application knowledge. Also course is updated regularly as per the requirement of industry . The course can we improved by making course more practical rather than a writing all things on practical it should include project for students. Frequency of exam is that in every 15 days there is a exam with moderate to difficult level.

7th Semester students become eligible for placements. The highest package is offered by Rubrik in 2025 of 1.41 CR(domestic) High paying jobs are mostly for SWE/SDE roles. Percentage of students getting placed in CSE/AIML is 75, ECE 69, EEE 60, Mech 58. My plans after gettting degree is to get into job sector only for a while. No such higher education plans as such.

At BIT Mesra third is like full of practice for placements and final year more of placements activities than studies. So, when all these things are in order placements obviously will be more or less certain and here they are certain only with almost 90% students are places through campus with annual placements of 8-10 lakhs per annum.

One of my colleges best features is its placements program, which offers fantastic chances for students to launch their carrers. In the fifth and sixth semesters, students are prepared with aptitude training sessions, group discussions, and resume construction. About 85% of qualified pupils were placed during the previoes school year. Compared to core engieering fields, placements rates were marginally higher in IT branches.
