this course was my preference because of my interest in metal and mining , i was getting electrical branch in nit patna as per my jee mains rank but my interest and enthusiasm for metal brought me here . Faculty are too good to be true, they are always willing to teach students and solve there doubts. student ratio of our college is same as other government ENGG. colleges . all the teachers are well qualified , All of them had done their Masters and some of them has done Ph.d and rets of all are pursuing it. as the a year is divided into two semester , each semester has 2 exams. called insem and endsem, insem comprises of 30 marks and endsem is of 70 marks, the level of questions are east to medium, passing the exam is not a challenge.

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 77000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

Fee of our college is above the average fee status of other Good Engg. colleges. our total fee id around 3L, in which course fee is 2L and 1 L is HOstel+Mess., in which laundry and haircut charges are included. Our college offers scholarship for poor students Many companies like CRED, ZS,TCS,BISHT pvt.ltd, etc comes to our college which offer good packages to students.

Campus Life

Life at campus is very good, our campus is filled with plants and trees, greenery is the true wealth of our campus. our library is of British Standards and no such books is available in the world that is not in our library (You name it you get it). Our classrooms have black board, chalk , and white board marker and projector , Sports culture in our college is very good, people play day and nigh, we have two felids one for cricket and another one fro football, even other colleges and schools rent our feild for their events, Our college have many club liek CEAR, Natures,Trinity, GDSC, OSS,NSS,etc. Annual fest for culture we have rang a chinar and a tech fest

Admission

Eligibility: 75% in 12th board examination Entrance exam: JEE MAIN, for Computer Engineering branch student needs >=94%ile. There are 120 seats in CE, IT, ENTC and 60 seats in Mech. The college offers 4 year B.E. course only. There isn't any caste based reservation

NIT Sringar is beautiful!!

Placement Experience:

Marshal the placement resources so well that our college has close to 90% placement records. Siemens, ABB and such companies where ECE engineers can contribute are the companies that hires us and the average for our ECE branch is 6 lakhs or so.

Is Nit Srinagar worth it?

Placement Experience:

Yes my college offers placements for each branch students becomes eligible after sixth semester if they doent have any active supply in there course and very company have their own criteria to make eligble to the student for placements like cgpa etc. companies visited in civil was L&T, Tata steel, Jsw, Afcon etc and the average package was 6 lakh every company brought diffrent no. of offers average was 5 in civil highest package got to mine class crc of 1300000 that was a psu and the percentage of students got placed was 10% only. mine plans after was to prepare for goverments exams.

There are in campus placements in our university. Students become eligible for the same from 7th semester. Companies like IBM, AMAZON, WIPRO, INFOSYS, DELOITTE, CGEGG, HONDA, NTPC, ACCENTURE are the top recruiters. The highest package was of 36.5 LPA and the average is 11.5LPA in the year 2023. Placement Experience:

Our institute has a placement call, and it helps the students acquire jobs in the industry. Many top companies like Wipro, L and T, and NVIDIA visit our campus, and it provides jobs in every field from Information Tech. to Material-related jobs. Here job opportunities are for every branch. Recently in one day 30-40 students got placed at an average package of 10 LPA. Most of the opportunities are for CSE and IT students as it goes for every institute and some companies like GAIL, and IOCL. BARC gives internship opportunities to chemical branches too. The core branches like Electrical and Mechanical also perform well in the placements. From the 7th semester, placement opportunities are given to the students. Highest package 40 LPA and median package 10 LPA.

Admission:

First apply for jee mains exam and get a rank under 50000 and also minimum 75% marks in 12th exam and you have only three attempt to qualify jee mains exam if you clear the cutoff so you also eligible for jee advance exam for the admission in IIT

The university is situated in the Trikuta foothills and is 80 km away from the main Jammu city so one has to bear that because everything is not available sometimes. Electricity is 24×7 and the weather is awesome.

Is Nit Srinagar worth it?

I got this college on the basis of councellign held after jee main result before this i got Natinal institue of technology Megalya i left that beacuse of non permanent hostel facility and bad reviews from the seniors and the distance from mine hoemtown sikar(Rajasthan) even many good engineerig colleges was there in mine list but because of mine less marks in jee main and advance i am unable to get them (example : nit silchar, nit Wrangle, nit Trichy etc) but over all mine college was good according to Enviroment conditions and other parameters and the admission process was very smooth just you have to verify your documents ....Read More

As we all know that the B.Tech course is of four years and divided into eight semesters. It is offereed across 8 different specialisations including /cse, /ee, ECE, MEC, META, CIVIL, IT /cHE . The course admission is done on the basis of candidate's performance in JEE Main followed by JOSSA counselling/CSAB counselling. The allotment is donw on the basis of merit score in Je/e Main. The Eligibility Criteria is that the candiddate must qualify JEE Main and score above 75% marks in 12th. A score of 96 - 97 p;ercentile is enough for an OB/C or General student and 93% -90 perccentile for SC / ST students.
