Course Curriculum Overview

4

I chose this because I have a keen interest in finance and I'm interested in accounting and company law, and in economics too. I also want to do MBA in finance. Teachers are really qualified. They teach really well.

Internships Opportunities

3.5

We get multiple opportunities from different companies. Our placement cell is active and really hard working. We can paid and unpaid internship opportunities. We recently get volunteer opportunities in G20 summit.

Placement Experience

3.5

My college placement is decent. We have average pakage of 400000. College provide good placement opportunities for every students from different courses. We have get multiple internship opportunities that help us a lot.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees of Delhi University is already very low and is increasing merely less. My fees is approx 15000. It's is really low so, there is nearly no fiance pressure. Yeah there is many scholarship and internship opportunities.

Admission

The admission process was quite tough and challenging becuase thousands of students appeared only for a few seats. I gave an entrance exam named cuet conducted by nta. So after your boards you have to appear for cuet and register that on cuet portal. The paper maximum marks were 800 and the cutoff to get my college was 660-680.

The placement opportunities in my college are limited. Full fledged campus placements are not offered for most of ug courses. Usually the students become eligible in their final years for placements. My plans after completing course is to give rbi banking exam.

many reputable companies come to our college to recruit potential candidates during the placements time. companies like EY, Bain, etc. come during the placement season. even if students are not able to find on campus placements, the skills and education of university of delhi leaves students with enough credibility to find placements on their own.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I really was interested in finance and taxation from the beginning. This course aligned rightly with my interests. The curriculum is based on real world applications. Corporate accounting, financial accounting, company law, human resource management, these are very important considering change in the job market and business world. Not only real world applications but one can also go for further academic pursuit such as a master's degree and research. This makes the curriculum really diverse. Some areas of suggestions would be that in theory subjects there should be practical activities. Just like vestibular training. The time of exams is just right. After the completion of syllabus of a particular subject, we are given 10 days of preparation leave. The exams are moderate and it really tests our ability and knowledge based on our studies.

Course Curriculum Overview:

It was more my existing stream than the curriculum that made me choose this course. It doesn't give me a kickstart to my future career goals but it was the most secure and relevant one. There should be more real world exposure and teaching technique rather than the century old laid out theory practices. The frequecy of exams is somewhat suitable as per the subjects per semester.
