I got into IITB for parents but the competition right there is heavy and we need to study hard there we can enjoy ourselves at the same time we need to study accordingly The faculty-student ratio is 1:40 It's very difficult to pass if we study a day before the exam

Actually, I am in the first year of my bachelor's here in iitb so when IT come to here the companies coming for internships are Amazon etc but the competition is very heavy right here because the top 200 students are here.

I am a first-year student I did not get into the scholarship portal but the fees are very affordable compared to corporate colleges And the cost of study is much less here in iitb Finally, once I get into this scholarship I will inform full data

Campus Life

Mood Indigo is the Asia's largest fest conducted in iitb There are lots of books in the library very efficient to study There are lots of options to play games There are so many clubs like robotics clubs, sports clubs run by students etc

Hostel Facilities

The rooms are quite big for 1st year students The meals and quality is amazing right there and the menu is upto the mark Registration process is quite easy but first u need to get into iitb I don't know about pg

Eligibility is 10th and 12th pass with jee advance Rank. Actually, josaa will inform the date of opening for the application form followed by fees followed by dates and for reservation eligibility we can check the josaa official website.

Overall review of my college life in VIT Pune

Placement Experience:

The Training Placement Office Logins are given to us in the third year of the college where alot of companies gives opportunities to apply for the said job role or internship. Approximately 5 to 10 companies visits are there every month which increases as you enter your final year of college.

After 1st year student can openly apply for internship, theon campus internship is avaliable after 4th Sem. The highest amount goes to Quant Finance and more than 75% gets placed for in-campus. The highest pakacemet was INR 3cr for the Quant profile.

From the 6th semester the students are eligible for campus placements. Many companies visit this college like Infosys, Calfus , Amazon , UBS, Crowdstrike. In case of no campus placements, one can try research internship offered by college.

My experience at VIT pune

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible to apply for placement is after 2 year or at 5th semester. And companies that have visited are Morgan Stanley, TCS, JP Morgan, etc. and many others. Basic package is about 7 lacs per annum which I consider as okay for freshers. And the student which got highest is 26 lac per annum as he was one of the brightest student of the college. I think 50 to 60 percent students get placed more or less maximum are low package students. My plans are different than doing job so not applied at any of the job.

Students are eligible for placement from the third year itself for ppo and so. There are several companies visiting thakur around the year and there are a lot who get placement off campus too. I have heard a student from comps got into google at 72lpa. you can visit the tnp site for more detail.

placements are pretty decent here, especially for comp/it students. The average package here is around 12 to 14lakh, college provide on campus placements too, our placement cell is pretty hardworking. almost 97 to 99% of students get placed here.

All BTech and MTech students can apply for offcampus placement if required but there sufficient oncampus placements and almost all students get placed.Companies visiting for computer and IT are tcs, infosys, capgemini, cognisant, Nvidia, IBM, etc Total 42 offers were made computer branch and 52 offers for IT branch. The percentage of placements is 80%.

I did applied for iit delhi also as it was my home town but got IIT Bombay as it was much better for me because of placements and brand value. IIT BOMBAY REVIEW

so i did fill for other college but yes iit bombay was my 1st preference so i got it and acc to my rank i was gettinng into iit bombay very easily but to be on safe side i added more option . so i have cleared jee advanced to get here . for mtech you have to pass gate . the admission iprocess is impler only its mostlyy digital.cutoffs of jee adv is obviously very high due to number of student who wnt to go in iit and number of studnet who get selected there is huge difference so dropper increases ....Read More
