Course Curriculum Overview

This course is always is the one I wanted to join so there is no option for me . There are around 200 faculty members and 2200 students in first year so the faculty to students ratio is good . The faculties are highly qualified and have a lot of experience . The semester takes place on time as the syllabus is followed well. Exams are not that tough you can pass them by studying them one night before except physics.

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 500000 per year

Internships Opportunities

Company which visited here are Microsoft and Dell offered internships with stipend of 1 LPM . You have to work on the projects so that you stand out of the crowd and work lot on skills there are lot of students sitting on placements .

Placement Experience

Student's become eligible for placement from 6th or 7th semester. Microsoft, Dell, Adobe visited last year and around 1500 offers made. Highest Package 36 LPA and Average package was 8 LPA . 87% students were placed in last batch.

Fees and Financial Aid

There is fees hike policy every year and cost to study is very expensive but it is affordable for domicile students. Scholarship is offered to students who have performed well in JEE , CUET . Financial assistance is available for students as well

Campus Life

URRJA and UHACKTHON are the annual fest and tech fest respectively they are held in November and September. There are not so many facilities available as per classroom. There are lot of books and journals available so you can learn of you want .

Hostel Facilities

There is desk and chair and bookshelf and regular cabinet. Meal quality is good as compared to other hostel experience which I have experienced. Registeration process for hostel is you have to select the hostel you want to opt and then fill the form .

Hostel Fee: INR 195000 per year

Admission

The course is eligible for students who got above 50% in classes 10th and 12th. You can find the application form at the website of Upes. application fees are around 1000-1500 Rs and application dates are announced after Boards Exam. Reservation benefits are offered to those who belong to SC/ST. No Improvement is required.

"Overall, a satisfying college experience"

Placement Experience:

In our college students become elegible for placement after 5th and 6th sem . Preplacement drive such as aptitude test , coding session, group discussion may start from 4th sem . I'm not sure wether i take placement from my college or by myself but my goal after completing my degree is to take a repotative job as software engineer.

The feeling of being in IIT Roorkee

Placement Experience:

Placements are good as you all know its IIT. The avg package of all branches is still around 20 LPA . For CS its around 35-40 LPA. And for all other branches its greater than 15 LPA. Im a first year student so i have not seated in placement but there are so many companies that visit iit roorkee for placements, like google,microsoft, ibm, oracle, etc Highest package secured by a student this year is 1.5 crore. Nearly 95 percent of students get placed every year for sure. My plans after degree is to get placed and do my job.

Is it one of the best private college ?

Placement Experience:

Placements are really good here many companies comes at campus every year each year the number of companies increases and the highest package is about 32LPA and students are allowed from 7 semester to enroll in campus placement program 100% placement is assured if u are scoring more than 7.5 CGPA and having no backlogs at all my plans are to get degree and try to get the campus placement if possible

Course Curriculum Overview:

B.tech Cse course is good as I see that AI rises quickly in this generation which looks good for future. College must increase lab for more practical exercises in labs for better learning, Timings must ne atleast 2 to 3 hour's for better learning.

Overall good college according to fees

Placement Experience:

After completing second year means 4 th semester the students usually start to do the internship and usually the students from 5-6 semester become eligible for the campus placements , there are various companies that visited here like wipro, microsoft, hdfc , intallipat, etc . I don't know about the number of offers but the highest package offered here was 40 lakhs per annum.

IIT ROORKEE - A SCRUPULOUS REVIEW

Placement Experience:

Iit roorkee provide better Placement opportunities than any other college. It has it's placement and intership cell . Gold man Sachs, JP Morgan Chase, graviton and quantbox are the big recruiters which visit my college. Placement are good with average package of 1800000 per annum. If someone don't get on campus then cell helps in getting off campus placement. Enormous amd strong alumini network helps in getting off campus placement.

A big no for placements and a big yes for campus life

Entrance test for the programme is conduted based on the criteria that is above 60% admissions are provided. The professors of the university also conducts interviews before admissions in zoom. After all the process once the student clears the exam and interview admission is provided. I was enrolled in the university in the year 2018 as would say that I definetely wasted my 3 precious years and money offcourse.
