My overall experience at Bharati College is really good, the campus is peaceful and provides a safe place for women. And the food from cafeteria is really good and affordable for students and I personally like the gardens around our college it gives

I really dislike the guard of our college not all of them though but some them are really annoying and it gets into my head . Also there was one gatekeeper I really didn’t like coz he made a big scene about something really silly in the college so I

I chose psychology since I'm interested in becoming a clinical psychologist. As of now faculty students ratio is about 3:10 and I would want them to bring more teaching staff to the college. All the teaching staffs are well qualified and is approved by the central authority of DU. Exams are held timely and it depends on students how to pass their exams.over all I'd say it's a good college

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees are around 17000 to 22000 depending on the course mine was 17000 something for psychology hons and so far I haven't heard of any scholarships or job opportunities, financial assistance around our campus I think they gave none

Campus Life

Our annual fest is Abhiyakti which is held for 3 days and outsiders are allowed for the first day.singers from around the country come to perform on that day, many stalls for food stationery items, paintings are opened. One of the social groups run by students are NSS they are really active and smart.

Admission

Eligibility of the course is 12th pass, in order to get into any DU college one has to appear for CUET exam , fees of the college range between 17000 to 21000 and it's easier for you to get in if you have any reservations like st,sc etc.

the curriculum is decided by delhi university, economics wing and is followed by all the colleges of du, although few topic are often irrevelent which teachers tend to skip. i do feel that curriculum is pretty old and they should introduce new topic which are more related to reak=l world and give us real life experience not just bookish knowledge which is irelevent. they should also ask for students input related to their curriculum, teachers sometimes tedn to just do book reading. internal exmas are taken frequently and difficulty is 3 out of 5

Course Curriculum Overview:

It is a good course. I went for it mainly because I am preparing for UPSC CSE (pretty common around here). In that context the course is helpful, and also for those aiming to enter research, academia, museology, archaeology etc. However there are not many placement opportunities and for most it would be better to pursue masters later on. Teaching methods are inclusive, both english and hindi medium students can comfortably study. However both students and faculties have some complaints regarding the curriculum changes under NEP such as the sequence of courses in each sem.

Great college with good faculty and student crowd

Placements is for 3rd year students. Many good companies visit our campus like bajaj capital, oberoi group. Highest package is around 22 lakhs. We have a lot of internship and placement opportunities come in for students.

Course is rightly designed. Plus the teachers often suggest books that can be read from library regarding course topics. The library is very nice here. I used to study in the library for long hours. Honest review of Pros and Cons of DCAC

Placement Experience:

Campus placement is done in the 3rd year. The highest PPO given is 24,00,000 to auditing and taxation departments. Average package is about ?15,00,000 to ?18,00,000. Companies like Eay, KPMG and more visit our college for placement. Most students under the commerce department get offered internships. Other than this, the placement cell also actively keeps sending internship opportunities for students to enhance their profiles. I am an English honours student l, thus there is no placement option for me directly unless I take up options from the P-Cell. I have already interned at EY India, Gurgaon, as a forensics and risk management specialist( throigh personal referral).My knowledge (attained from DCAC) of research, report and article writing were used adequately.

Generally, after BA no one is placed and even if we apply for a job we don't get a good package. So, students generally go for masters or some other courses through which they can get placements. Talking of college placement and internship cell we don't have very good facilities as very limited companies are there for recruiting students. Many students don't even get the internship. This is a major negative point of college.

From Campus to Career in Bharati College

This is girls college and personally this college is very nearest to my home location in terms of girls college because i studied my whole schooling in coed , so decided to go in this and genuinely this college is very good for girls. I had choosed this college because the college is quite low in fees and I have seen that some of the college charged 50k for a year so I cannot afford that much for one year and In my college it is around 5.5k for a year and it is increasing by 10% for the next year so it is apprx 6k for the next year so it is quite good for those who cannot afford 50k for a year that's why I select this college...Read More
