Likes

The exposure to co curricular activities is great .
The academics is pretty strict. Exams are conducted in regular intervals.
The student senior interaction is pretty good and the seniors are helpful.

Dislikes

The pressure is quite high for academics. students are very serious.
The infrastructure should be better and campus should be a closed campus.
Few tests should be online that will increase the efficiency

Course Curriculum Overview

This was chosen to be in the medical field. The student teacher ratio is 25:1 The faculty here are basically medical professionals. The exams are held every 1 year and 3 internals. Yearly exam is conducted by the medical board.

Class Size: 250Course Fees: INR 39000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

Fee structure for the course is 38500 and hostel fee include 14000. There are various state government scholarships for underincome students. Medhavi chhatra scholarship for student Jindal scholarships.

Campus Life

The annual fest is organised PARADISE and is conducted in the winters. The classroom is air conditioned. There is a cricket football basketball badminton courts. Many social service group such as SOCH is present in the hospital that helps patients.

Admission

The entrance exam is NEET UG . Any student who is in class 12 or passed class 12 can appear for the exam. The reservation is valid as per the government deals. The process should be done fast. The application form is available online.

The only thing that inspires me to go on despite of all the burn outs is the course curriculum. I'm absolutely in love with the course. It's sometime overwhelming that we're gonna deal with the human body tho and the way they teach us specifically the practical part of dealing with patients. Because of the affordable health care provision the patient load in our hospital is pretty good. Hence we get to learn about a lot of cases . Though I consider the learning part to be really good. I feel like there is a need of a better infrastructure in the college . The labs need to be more updated with more advanced equipments . The hostel food menu needs an upgrade too ;-(

The best thing of this college is that you started your clinical posting at very earlier which make mbbs a very pressure free curriculum. The biggest disadvantage of this 5.5 Yr curriculum is once you failed a final exam of any year you have to reappear for one more time and you will be one year back from your batch mates. And exam frequency is very late which do not give a last option to the previous batch student who had fail their exam

MKCG medical college- A dream campus to study MBBS

Course Curriculum Overview:

We get 4 and half years of Mbbs studies in our college.Plus there are periodic examinations that are held .Most of the examinations are held in offline mode in complete contrast to the online examinations being held all over India.We appeared in around 2 semester ending examination every year plus there is a main examination called University examination which is mandatory to clear for being upgraded to next year
