MKCG medical college- A dream campus to study MBBS

It was a bit cumbersome but it is still worthy as i get to become a doctor that too studying from a government medical institution.it was conducted by ojee cell situated at Bhubaneswar.It depends upon the marks secured at neet examination which is held at all India level .

We get 4 and half years of Mbbs studies in our college.Plus there are periodic examinations that are held .Most of the examinations are held in offline mode in complete contrast to the online examinations being held all over India.We appeared in around 2 semester ending examination every year plus there is a main examination called University examination which is mandatory to clear for being upgraded to next year

Since this a complete government institution...A lot of scholarships are available for quota people like medhabruti and prerna which offers around 90000 rupees per year to socially backwards and poorer students to help them in their studies also all kinds of financial assistance are available.The job is assured as we get posted as doctors after completion with 30000 stipend on the last year of studies

The most influential organization run by the students of our institution is SOCH ,it is an organisation that helps the poor section of the society by accumulation of some lumpsum money to fulfill their needs in case of some emergency and urgency.Further it also donates some money in case of natural disaster as well as to orphan centres located in and around the college

The hostel facility is available for all types of students from undergraduate to post graduate level with separate hostels for girls and boys .The hostels are Gents hostel - 1 to 4 similarly for post graduate and house surgeons separate hostels are available.The fees of the hostel are bare minimum so as to accommodate each and every one
