My course i.e B.E: Information Science and Engineering, is very similar to B.E:Computer Science and Engineering which is a well sought course. There is a group of very accomplished professors in each department who guide the students throughout the course. Apart from that all students are assigned their respective student proctor who counsels them throughout the college. About examinations, there are timely and evenly spread examinations which are moderate in toughness.

The internship program is available to all the students from 2nd Year and is compulsory for all the students. It helps all the students to go jnto the real world and apply their existing knowledge to vain something new .

The campus placement start in 3rd year. The highest package provided this year was around 40 L.P.A whereas the average go around 7 L.P.A. A vast range of companies come to the college and q great number of people do get placed through the placement program of the college.

The fee structure is approximately similar to all the other Engineering colleges looking into the fact that the college provides multiple labs and research libraries to all the separate departments. I don't have knowledge about scholarships.

The annual college fest named Manthan is a very happening event which is happening in December. Apart from that many other technical events take place in college throughout the year. There is a wide range of books in libraries and also all the departments have their separate library apart from the main library accessible by all. All the classrooms are equipped with projectors for a better explanation . The clubs in the college are very active and happening and the students get chances to attend more than 3 events every month thanks to the clubs.

The hostel facility could be improved a bit since BIT hostels are not equipped with wi-fi. The meal menu is vivid allowing incorporating different styles of food along with non vegetarian dishes thrice a week.

The admission phase is pretty simple. We give entrance examinations which allows us to sit in a counseling session for a number of colleges in Karnataka. There are two examinations that you can give namely: COMED-K and KCET(which is only available to students of karnataka). On the basis of ranks and cut-offs, students sit in 3 counseling rounds and select their college of choice. The application forms are available easily on the internet.
