Course Curriculum Overview

I like engineering alot that's y I chooses this field as my career. I can do coding editing and become anything I want to be. Teachers should get trained in their specific field for more outcome and gud results

Class Size: 100Course Fees: INR 1600000 per year

Placement Experience

7th sem students get availability for campus placements. Averages package is 320000 and maximum package is 22L per year. U get intership in college itself but I prefer outside the campus. It is upto your choice

Fees and Financial Aid

300000 per yr, batchmates fees 300000, sitaram zindal scholarship , MHRD scholarship, SSP scholarship, private scholarship are available in the college. Reservation is there. According to their caste they get seat

Campus Life

We celebrate ganesh chaturthi , onam, diwali, pili gobbu, akriti in our college mainly. Annual day is the big celebration for us. We like it alot. Students will compulsory attend the program. Meal will be provided

Hostel Facilities

You will get one bed, one cupboard,one study table and chair. One window will be there. Racks are available in some room. It's totally upto you. Attached bathroom rooms also available but they pay extra 10000

Hostel Fee: INR 120000 per year

Admission

I applied for sahyadri. I didn't like the college and I was not selected also. Information science was my choice but dont wanted to join that college due to some personal reasons. CET Jee are main exams.

Faculty

150 faculty are their total. I like lakshmi kamat. She is very nice. She is the best among all. I don't like narayan nayak. He doesn't teach at all. Their are 8 exams. They are VTU exams. 10 students fail average

Night Life

Gym is there, cafeteria, library are available. Hostel is very nice but varries from facility in the room. I paid 40000 for mg room. Manglore beach is the famous tourist place we visited and malls are common place

Placements are really good with reputed companies like Infosys, HP, etc recreuting students. Average package is around 10 lakh rs per annum. My plans are to get placed after my studies in a well reputed company.

Placement Experience:

I am currently not into the placement thingy as i have just started my 3rd year but heard a quite about the placements the college the highest is aroung 70 to 75 LPA and the average is ariund 12-14 LPA. Our college also offers masters program in abroad that is it is in collab with the University of ILLNOIS. After 3rd year students above certain CGPA are given chance to complete their degree here or complete B.E with M.E in ILLNOIS.

Placement stats are pretty good, offers above 50LPA have also been granted to students, but they are not as common. With a good cgpa, 5+ LPA can be ensured. Students from 6th sem become eligible for placements, companies such as TI, Apple, Daimler Trucks etc have come for placements

It’s Okay to be not Okay

Being an Neet aspirant I failed to get a seat in the medical after taking a year drop and the next option that left for me was engineering.soo bcz of Neet my cet didn't went good and didn't get good ranking. Apart from this college the currently i am pursuing u have applied for 3 other colleges one is Sahyadri, st.joseph,and mite.due to ranking difference I couldn't get seat in those colleges. Those three college was the most preferred to me and Canara was an extra option for me but unfortunately I got seat here in all the three rounds that made me feel so disappointing. Why I think the rest 3 colleges are better then Canara is because of the location the college located and the locality and compared to Canara the other three colleges had good placements and the students that come to those three colleges have a good mindset and would have helped me to improvise myself but here in this college we will find 60-70% of gsb students and students from villages who r rather worried about the future developing changes in the world or knowledge on the technical thing or the technology they r just focused on clearing the subject of the exams that's it ....Read More
