Likes

The attendace in our classes aren’t mandatory, so majority of the students take advantage of it by pursuing professional courses like CA/CMA/CS etc
All the classes here in our college are air conditioned which makes it easy for us to study in summer.
The faculty here is too good with the teachings.

Dislikes

The college doesnt have a big campus so sadly we cant enjoy the campus life.
The college doesnt have its own playground so it gets a little tough for the players to practice their games.
The afternoon batch of our collehe doesnt allow boys to attend which is kinda partial.

Course Curriculum Overview

I chose the course as I wanted to go ahead in the commerce line, and it seemed the perfect course to choose along with CA/CMA. Also, the faculty here is well qualified since they all come under Calcutta University, which is very well known for its commerce faculty. Semester exams are held after 6 months along with internals, exams can be passed with ease if studied 1-2 months before the exam.

Class Size: 70Course Fees: INR 54000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees are to be paid in advance before a new semester starts. Fees are nominal in this college and can easily be afforded by a middle-class family. And also the hike in the fees per year is very nominal.

Campus Life

The annual fest in our college is being held in December and goes by the name UMANG. It is being held in the last week of December with lots of fun. The library here in our college is maintained properly with all the books required for all the courses in our college. The books are well catalogued and arranged conveniently. Sports are being held in December, where multiple sports are being played like football, taekwondo etc.

Admission

The student passes the class 12 examinations with a minimum of 50% to get bcom. It provides morning and afternoon classes for all girls and evening batches which are again coed. Reservations can be obtained by providing the required documents and can be easily obtained if someone belongs to the Gujarati community.

Placement Experience:

Idk but i guess students become eligible from 2nd or 3rd sem. Idk what is the company visited but the placements are very good i heard that, avg package varies 2.4 lpa I guess. Right now i am doing internship so as of now i don't have plans.

Various companies come to this college for on campus placement Average package= 1000000 Highest package=2200000 Various multi national company and other big and small companies visit this college for on campus placement. Most of the students also get placement opportunities whether large or small package The opportunity is given to all degree whether it be bcom or bcom hons . Any student who does not get placed can easily use the degree to get a high paying off campus placements and to go to any good college or stay in this college for their post graduation.

Quite an Average Government College which lacks in infrastructure, faculty, and placements.

Course Curriculum Overview:

As I mentioned, the course curriculum is outdated and no new industry knowledge is being taught. Projects and assignments are also bookish and are just for sake. Teaching methods by teachers are also bookish and backward. The frequency of exams are after every 6 months and are pretty manageable and easy.

I applied to scottish church, jaipuria college and goenka college of commerce Got confirmed from the first two but bhawanipur had the best discipline , teacherd and a smooth easy process and the best campus.it has a ragging free enviroment which is best for me .
