Have a Clear Choice of your College

I chose ME as I am interested in learning about machines and it's working and to work in the mechanical field. I also chose ME as it's one of the best courses provided by SLIET, Longwall. The faculty and teacher ratio is very good. Faculties are well qualified with almost all having 5-10 years experience in their respective fields. It was as per the schedule of the academic calendar of the college and the exams were not very difficult anyone can pass if they can spend some time studying before the exam.

Many companies give us internships like Mahindra, TVS, ISRO, and many local companies. The stipend ranges according to the skills of the students. It is around 10000 to 30000. As I am in my first year I don't know much about it but yes many projects are done with the companies.

By the Third to Fourth semester students become eligible for placement. Many companies visit the college namely Mahindra, TVS, etc. Offering many students a decent salary. The highest of the ME branch is 12LPA and the lowest is 5LPA. Around 60% of students get placed and many go for higher studies. My plan is to get placed at the college itself.

The fees of the college are the best thing as it is one of the colleges with the lowest fees in India. With fees ranging from 35000 to 40000 per semester. The college provides a lot of opportunities for scholarship. The college informs about each and every scholarship scheme which are ongoing. Even private scholarships can be received easily. The college provides its own scholarship to those whose CGPA are among the top 5% in their respective class.

First is the Madhuram which is the annual fest and is held in the month of October. And there is a technical fest which is held around April. There are around 1 lakh books which is accessible and along with that, there is a digital library. A study hall is a bonus. Classrooms are top class there is a smart classroom with AC, fan, smart board, etc. We have big grounds where a lot of sports events take place almost every month. There are many clubs social, technical, and many more. Namely Endeavor, Science Club, etc.

It is a 3-person sharing room with 2 fans, a bed, a chair, tables, and balconies. Hostel meal is okay only with a sweet item 4 days a week, paneer, chole puri, etc. We just needed a single form for the accommodation and it was very much affordable as the mess fee is 2700 per month.

We have to qualify for JEE mains for this college. All the forms and other information can be found on the Jee website. There is a reservation in the college and many avail it. The admission process is very simple and well-understood so there is no improvement needed.
