Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum and faculty members are also good. They are supportive in nature, and help in every project be it major or minor. They show support if we even try to work on some other projects other than our curriculum.

Class Size: 140Course Fees: INR 268000 per year

Placement Experience

The placement is also good. Companies like JIO, Wipro, TCS, Capgemini, L&T, etc. come to our college for on-campus recruitment in our college. The max package is 24 lack per annum from our college in recent years.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure is very simple. We need to give tuition fees and if you are opting for a hostel then you have to pay an extra 3500 per semester for a hostel. The tuition fee is nearly 35000 for every sem. There is an opportunity for a scholarship if you have secured good marks in JEE.

Campus Life

There are many games which you can play and learn here. Games like volleyball, cricket, basketball, lawn tennis, table tennis, badminton, swimming pool etc. These are some major games which you can play here.

Hostel Facilities

The hostel facility is also good. You will be provided with three meals and snakcs in the evening. Although, you need to charge for the extra electric applicances which you will be using in the hostel.

Admission

The admission process through the JEE entrance test was straightforward. I filled out the online application, providing personal and academic details. After that, I downloaded the admit card and appeared for the exam. The exam pattern covered physics, chemistry, and mathematics. The results were published online, and I could access my score and rank. Cut-offs were determined by the examining body, and meeting the required cutoff made me eligible for counselling. The counselling process involved selecting preferred institutes and courses based on my rank. Overall, the JEE admission process was systematic and efficient.

Chandigarh University - My experience from fees to social life

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is good and cover every aspects of learning and skills needed in today's time but it feels the semester get over to fast in around 3.5 months with 3 exams and lab exam. They should provide the real learning based on a student interest some student are good in coding but they lack to communicate better, they should focus on that part also as they also do in many cases by giving subjects like soft skills and communication skills every sem.The teacher should not be reading the ppt only . We can do that also why we are paying that much fees just to learn from a teacher who is just reading the slides.

Course Curriculum Overview:

i would rate the course curriculum as largely relevant and fairly comprehensive,. one of the main reasons i chose this course was the balance between conceptual foundations and practical exposure. the curricuum supports future academic growth since many of the modules introduce us to advance topics early, making it easier to explore research. some topics feel slightly outdated and could be aligned better with the current industry skills and technologies. the exam schedule is manageable, though sometimes multiple assessments happen in the same week or same day, ehich adds pressure . Spacing out evaluations a bit more and giving clearer rubrics could improve the overall experience

I only looked for government colleges as they are affordable and well-reputed. I applied in sant Longowal institute of engineering and technology in first seven round but I got electronic engineering which I didn't want, so I waited for special round and then I got Computer science. I am in general so I didn't get any quota for admission but obc and sc st have quota in the college. To get into sant Longowal institute of engineering and technology, you have to give entrance exam and the cut off of the college generally goes around 130-140 for general category.
