Likes

teaching staff is very co-operative and students got listened by teacher
college's new building is best gave a feel of best college .
library, plants, flowers etc.Campus is very clean.

Dislikes

canteen food is not so good , and this is same in every college not only in mine
lifts are only for teaching staff but not for students
boys common rooms are not so good but girls common room is quite good.

Course Curriculum Overview

As I was from a commerce background in 12th. It is quite good like 1 teacher for 30-45 students. No doubt about the qualifications of the DU faculties, they are very good in their fields. 2 semesters in a year, if you take proper classes then you can easily pass.

Internships Opportunities

I'm not specific about companies but if any students are interested in an internship they can get it by communicating with their classmates. and should get internships on your own. recently Delhi University released the Vice Chancellor's internship opportunities for its students.

Placement Experience

After 5th sem. no idea. 7 lacs. not everyone got placed everyone had different plans, and 50% of interested and qualified students got placed. M.com from the same university i.e. Delhi University.

Fees and Financial Aid

there was no hike in my fee during college, it was just only few hundred [400]rise in 3rd year as compared to the first year in the second year it declined by a few hundred. yearly fee for my course is less than 8000. Yeah there are scholarships, but I didn't get them as I was not interested.

Campus Life

societies wise there are a lot of events. my library is the best ever I've seen. very cooperative staff at the library. all basic amenities were there. there are a lot of sports and ECA and NCC also. there are a lot of societies like sarmaya (the commerce society).

Admission

1. At my time there was only eligibility to get enough marks in 12th to clear the cutoff of the desired college. 2. At the DU website you can fill app. form to get admission. 3. Not availed 4. No need because it's already good.

Placement Experience:

From 5th semester students become eligible for campus placement. Placements are pretty average and mainly business development executive roles are offered (for bcom )with decent packages. Auditing roles are also offered. Good companies do come but for limited batch of students. I am not aware of the specific numbers

Course Curriculum Overview:

I personally like finance and accounting field and in bcom hons we widely study about these majors . This led me to opt for this course. All the subjects and their curriculum are great . We can really use them in our real life . Like we study income tax and e filing , financial accounting, tally prime, companies act, etc which are all required as a foundation for a business and accounting. But I feel some subjects should be kept practical only instead of writing anything about it in exams . As a du student we all must have encountered writing unnecessary pages for answers just to make our answer look more suitable. I feel teachers should on quality over quantity of answer as it can improve our learnings.

Course Curriculum Overview:

• Commerce subjects, my cuet score aligning with this college, location • only few subjects like accounting, human resource, financial management ( core subjects of my course are relevant and knowledgeable)other courses like ability enhancement, value added, skill does not add any value in my course. • Removing unnecessary mandatory subjects like hindi/english, evs which have no scope in future. • timings is 3 hours per core subject and other relevant courses are of around 2 hour or 1.5 hr depending on the subject.

All about SRCC life, exposure, placements, faculty and my experience

Placement Experience:

For placements fifth semester student are eligible for placements. Since it is best commerce college. Companies like big 4, google, bank of America, Goldman Sachs, bcg, bain and co., Sbi, paytm, meesho and many more comes. The highest package was 36 LPA this year from meesho for senior analyst roles. Average package is 10 LPA. Most of the placements take place in consulting, marketing, auditing, finance and analyst roles. Around more than 50% of the students get placed. My plan is to take placements in consulting and finance roles after the degree from the college.

Truly great experience

Course Curriculum Overview:

The teaching method of the teachers are the best and their no need to change but some teachers take less time and finishes important topic so they can teach more. The time table of our college is very manageable and the timings of the paper are good and the teacher takes class test on weekly basis so it help us to learn topic easy.

*I applied for many colleges but got enrolled in Zakir Hussain because of distance from my home and also i research about infrastructure of this college it has vast facilities there. * No, I didn't get any rejection, i just wanted to do less travell. * At my time, i got admission through my merit percentage. for my course 92% required for morning and 85% for evening. i was eligible for eveing only. After getting admission, procedure was smooth, i just went to college and filled the form got help from seniors of my department, they were kind and helpfull in nature.Then along with admission form had to submit all the required documents- like your identity proof, all academic marksheets, fee reciept, category certificate(if applicable),migration certificate(if applicable).you need to sign all the documents and please carry all your original documents and copy as well.Your original documents will get submitted for verification and they returned it after some time,so dont worry about it....Read More
