Course Curriculum Overview

5

B.COM (Hons.) is an evergreen course, and provides a good foundation for a successful career. It's quite good, about 1:21. They are very well qualified, and are the authors of the popular academic books in the country. The teaching methods are old, yet understandable. Haven't had them yet.

Internships Opportunities

5

MBB offers, Big Four offers them, Deutsche Bank, etc. There are various profiles, like analysts, auditors, etc. There are various projects that come on campus, and they provide valuable insights into the corporate world.

Placement Experience

5

The 2nd Year students (3rd semester) are eligible for internships, while the 3rd Year students (5th Semester) are eligible for Placements. The MBB (McKinsey & Company, Bain & Company, and BCG) are regular visitors, then the Big Four Accounting firs. 500+ offers were made last year. 35,00,000 Rs. was the highest and Average was 10,15,000 Rs. The company profiles and their stats aren't made public. From the ones that apply, 80% are able to get it. UPSC.

Fees and Financial Aid

it's cheap as hell #DU just 30,000 Plus, the Return on Investment is very good. There are scholarship opportunities, however most students don't opt for it, because the course fees is low enough as it is.

Campus Life

5

Name of the annual fest is crossroads, however it has not been conducted for some 3 - 4 years. THe students union says they will, but let's see. They are available, just difficult to find. Very nice, ACs, projectors, etc. Wow toxic as hell the ECA is. EVerything is run by students. (placement cell, Debating society, Dramatics society, etc.)

Admission

It was quite easy. We had a CSAS Portal of DU which helped us through the process. The eligibility was simple. The student had to have either mathematics or accountancy in CBSE 2023 exams, and had to give the same in the CUET Exam 2023. All the details of the exam and registrations were provided on the DU website. Nope. Make it happen sooner.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course provides a comprehensive image of finance and management, though after NEP, the curriculum seems a little irrelevent. The exams are conducted twice in a year, 2 sems per year, they conduct mid sem exams as well.
