GHRCE college review

I chose computer science and engineering because of the interest I had in this field for the last 5 years. I already have a basic idea of how things work in this field and what I have to learn. Faculty to faculty-to-student ratio is something like 1 faculty teaches half the class and another teaches the other half. The college divides the class into two batches and allots faculty accordingly. Most of our faculties are MTECH grads and some senior faculties are PhD holders. The term exams are conducted between semesters and they are easy to pass if you studied well.

My college has a centre of excellence labs for various departments and fields like AIML, Betic Lab, AR&VR, Drone Lab, etc. These centres of excellence give internships to their students and these are unpaid internships. The faculties constantly work on various projects and thus require students to work with them.

From 6 sem students are eligible for placements. This year the numbers are low but in the previous year, companies came and hired students. Companies like TCS, Capgemini, Accenture, JPMC, Wipro, etc. The lowest package was around 4-5 LPA And average was around 7-8 LPA The highest was 17.5 LPA Most of the students got placed in the previous batch. I plan to apply on campus and also off campus.

The fees in this college for the general category or without any scholarship is 165000 approx. Since I applied with TFWS, I just have to pay the exam and college fees. Fees structure: Tution fees: 130000 approx. College fees: 21000 approx. Exam fees: 8000 per year Other fees are the remaining amount.

I am not that social in real life therefore I can not talk much about social life but I see students interacting well with each other. There's an annual fest called Antaragini. It's the official fest of our college. The library provides all the necessary books that you will need for engineering and other courses. You can issue it for a day. Classrooms are provided with desk benches and projectors. Faculty uses projectors to explain and also use whiteboard. The student representative council is run by students, they conduct various events and the college's main fest too. Students from SRC visit different sponsors for sponsorships.

To be eligible, you need to opt for the science field in 12th grade. Maharashtra state conducts an entrance exam called MHTCET. One has to apply directly from the MHTCET website. They can enter as many colleges according to priority. If you get selected then you can proceed further with the MHTCET website itself. Then college calls you to submit all documents and pay fees to confirm admission. That's the admission process. Document uploading in college should be online so that anyone can be admitted to college without hassle.
