Course Curriculum Overview
I wanted CS but I was getting TFWS(Tuition Fee Waiver Scheme) admission into the Information Technology branch so I sacrificed CS and took admission in Information Technology. Here the teacher-to-student ratio is 1:25. every 25 students have a Teacher Guardian (TG). Some have done their Ph. D. and Everyone has done M.Tech. Exams are after every 6 months and require a moderate amount of effort to pass.
Internships Opportunities
Tata Consultancy Services (TCS), Infosys, Wipro, Tech Mahindra, Capgemini, and many more. Job roles are Software Development Intern. Business Analyst Intern, Marketing Intern, Human Resources Intern, Finance Intern, Design Intern, Engineering Intern. There is 2 mini project in 2nd yr and 3rd yr and major Final year project.
Placement Experience
Generally after completion of 6th semester students qualify for placements. 200+ companies visited last year above 900 students got placement. The highest package is 16 LPA and the average is 4.5. From CS/IT usually more than 75% of students get placement.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fees do not rise much. In fact, sometimes the fees decrease in 2nd yr. There is a scholarship for OBC, VJ/NT, SC, and ST. In general, there is an EBC scholarship. Also for top 5% students of in each branch get TFWS. I got a job with the role of SDE with 6LPA.
Campus Life
The annual Fest is called Antaragni. It is in March. There is a library on campus that has all types of books. Many classrooms have CCTVs, Projectors, and ACs. Sports and other extracurricular activities are going on throughout the year. There are many clubs like coding club, gdsc, iee club, toastmasters club, bits, etc.
Admission
For admission, you have to clear MHT-CET or JEE. You can apply through the CAP round of CET and you can also visit the college for Admission. Applications are open after the results of the 12th exam or CET. If you have reserved before there are chances of getting the branch you want.
