Good infrastructure of university and sports grounds.
Library is very good all types of books are available needed by students.
Classroom are goods and techniques of faculty to tech student is best.

Course Curriculum Overview

For a better job, I choose a computer science course. The ratio Faculty: to student is 1:20. Faculty members' qualification is mtech, Ph.D., and their teaching techniques are good. Term exams were timely and easy to pass for average students.

Class Size: 80Course Fees: INR 170000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

No fee hike it increases only for the new batch coming next year. Fees vary between students' admission years. Scholarship are given to students who are not able to afford education like the TATA scholarship and also financial assistance if their grade is good.

Campus Life

Many fest are organised like the tech festival by Chitkara University, coding nights, and webinars. Every month new tech fest was conducted. library is good all books are available of interest of students. Good facilities in class AC classroom and smart board. Sports days are organized in winter as well as summer. All types of grounds are available for different games. Students run many social groups to help women and provide aid to villages around the university and clubs like happiness group, and depression free group to make students mentally strong.

Admission

Students who scored more than 60% are eligible. Application form are available on the university website and fees for application is 1500 at my time. Application open just before the 12 board. Reservation is there but not any benefit in fees.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Did some research and found that AI/Ml is quite popular around the globe and saw alot of future opportunity in this field. The msts were of 40 marks each with 60 mins to complete the exam and finals were of 60 marks with 3 hrs time limit. However student were allowed to leave the hall once half time is over.

Placements are really great of our college as its avg pakage is of 11 lac from computer related branches. Girls are eligible in second year for inters and for boys its generally from 3rd year because of the reservations.

When I'm in NITJ see what I got.

Placement Experience:

I think from 5th or 6th semester students can able to eligible for placement. Don't know exact data about the company company coming but there is good placement rate. 1.3CR highest package this year branch chemical engineering. In my Branch ICE there is more than 95% placement rate.

A true life of a student at nit jalandhar

Placement Experience:

Campus placment is good especially in the cse branch last year the highest went upto 52lpa while average increasing to 15lpa compared to 13lpa last year. The placements are offered in 4th year while internships in 3rd year.The top companies include google,microsoft,adobd etc.The percentage of students placed is really high of 91% which is consistent from past few years.My plans are to get in a big tech comapny like google or microsoft as the role of software developer.

placement percentages are extremely good 95% placements is no joke and in some branches they have touched 100% placement mark which is commendable and recently as student was hired at a package of 1.16Cr in Honk Kong but besides that average package can be improved

Placement Experience:

In LPU placement process usually start from 6th semester onwards. Many good companies come to campus like Infosys, Wipro, TCS, Cognizant, Accenture, Amazon and few product based also. Some startups also visit. The no. of offers are quite large every year because batch size is big. Highest package I heard was around 40 LPA but that is very rare, only 1-2 students get. Average package is around 5–6 LPA for CSE branch. For other branches it is little bit low. Almost 80-85% students who are seriously preparing gets placement from college. College also provide placement training and soft skills classes which help in interviews.

I have applied in lpu,chandigarh University and chitkara university, i got confirmation for admission from lpu but i choose chitkara over lpu because of the croud numbers of students intake in cse branch in lpu its approx 10,000 students but in chitkara its 3000 only that why i choose this over that.yes i got rejected from punjab university as i got less marks in jee mains.the admission process of chitkara university is very simple you call college admissions office they will assigned you one counselor then you can ask any questions about college in details then he will give you online admission form link fill it and send to him done simple...Read More
