Likes

Professors are good and helping and have brilliant knowledge in their respective fields.
Sport facilities at the college are good and we win several inter-nit competition.
Hostel and mass facilities are good while the mess menu is awesome.

Dislikes

Infrastructure is not so good and the campus is soo small.
The classes do not have A.C facilities in the college.
Wi-fi connection is not soo good in the college campus

Course Curriculum Overview

My course is computer science and engineering and it mainly deals with the software technology of the current era. There are 400 students in my branch in the first year, consisting of 340 boys and 60 girls approx. All the faculties are helpful and good, having proper knowledge in their core fields. Mid terms exams were held 1 month after the start of the semester and exams were easy to pass.

Internships Opportunities

Companies like Google, Microsoft, TCS, and a total of more than 45 companies visit our college during placements and internships. Internships are provided to almost 80% of the students of our branch ranging from 50k-150k per month.

Placement Experience

The internship is provided in the college from the third year and placement opportunities are provided in the college from the final year. The highest package was 1.35 crore and the average package for my branch is 27 lakhs. A total of 93% of students get placed. I am planning to be a software developer in the future.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure for my branch is like 800000 for the whole four years and the hostel and mess charges are additional. Scholarships are provided to EWS candidates and also to SC/st and OBC candidates on different basics. Also, additional scholarships are available for the students in terms of their family income by filling out various forms. Job opportunities are available in 3rd year as internships and in 4th year as placements.

Campus Life

College life is not as I expected as the campus size is not so large and the infrastructure is average. Pura annual fest is Vulrav which is held in March and the tech fest is Codesangam which is held in November. The library is so large and I think there are a lot of books. Classrooms are not that great. sports facilities are average. There are a lot of committees in the college but core dramatics is the best and it won the podium also at the spring fest in IIT Kharagpur.

Admission

Eligibility is to crack jee mains entrance exam and have a minimum percentile of 99.5 in jee mains if you are from the general category. The application form for jee mains is available on nta website and the fee for the form is 1000. As now dates have come, exams are held in January and April. Reservations for female candidates and backward classes candidates are also present.

Placement Experience:

Form the beginning of very first year students are eligible for the campus placements. TCS, cognizant, wipro, are the some companies visited here. Highest package is 44 lpa in amazon which is off campus for software role. Placements % is quite medium if you are serious about skill then you will be get a path here to go ahead. Arround 60 to 70 is the placement % My plans after getting degree is to get a job.

GLA University Mathura is Great!

Placement Experience:

Average package at GLA University may range between 5-7 lakhs but one student has managed to get placements of 55 lakhs and that is still the record placement from GLA University campus Mathura. Around 70-75% students are placed every year but I will be preparing for GATE as my ambition are to be atleast post graduate if not a PHD.

Good for learning and Skill development

Placement Experience:

Mostly te 6th sem (3rd year) got eligible for campus placement. Amazon, Accenture, AVL India, Atlan and many others (about 900+) visited and made 4000+ offers. The ave. package is about 5.25 LPA and highest crossed 39 LPA. Above 60%+ got their placement and the persentage of students receiving multiple offer is about 32%. After degrre want to build a strong carrer and to contribute in the grouth of Bharat.

Honest Opinion on IIIT ALLAHABAD

Placement Experience:

From 4th semester, many students get into the internship and many gets further preplacement through it. The companies visted are google, atlassian, flipkart, qualcomm, samsung, phone pe etc. Highest package is 1.21CR per annum. Average package is 30LPA 90% students got placed. Private job is the plan after getting the degree. 90% students gets placed.

Placement Experience:

Placements are quiet low at bbditm. The average package of 4lakh approx and the highest upto 15 lpa . The highest package is from the computer science branch. But number Of placements are low. But there is also number of placements in other branches.

MNNIT- A path to Bright Future

One of the important reasons for choosing this college is because of its unique and brilliant placement records. and also it is one of the best NIT in North. Basically I want a college that is not much distant from my state Haryana and should be good also and this alligns perfectly with my scenarios. Talking about the admission process, first you have to clear JEE Mains with a good rank like for CSE your rank be between 1K to 9K . If you want to take admission in this college irrespective of any branch you rank should be under 30K. But this data is not fixed , it changes every year depending on the difficulty level of JEE Mains. and then apply for the JOSSA councelling and there you can keep this college in your choice an dif your rank is good enough, you will get it. Know about MNNIT Allahabad/ NIT Allahabad

With my jee mains rank which was 5000 and along with ews I had two options to choose from... One was NIT Trichy with ece branch and one was NIT Allahabad or MNNIT Allahabad with cse branch. But I have hard that ECE branch is tough in terms of academic as compared to CSE branch.. and also NIT Allahabad was very much mear to my home state that is Bihar. So I considered NIT Allahabad over NIT Trichy. Package was also I reason that I considered while choosing between these two.
