What Students Say

Likes

Hostels are good, no violence or inappropriate behavior is tolerated.
Food is not bad as compared to other colleges.
Placement opportunity are good and even research opportunity is there in kiit.

Dislikes

Number of job offers is good but dream packages are less.
Quiet expensive college, taking loan is only option for a middle class family.
Most faculty members are local so sometimes you feel disconnected from your professor.

Course Curriculum Overview

Computer Science is an emerging branch, it many job opportunities and something new is being discovered in this field. Even my passion is coding. And like everyone's dream I also dream of earning more and the CSE branch provides me with that opportunity.

Internships Opportunities

Many MNCs come for internships like TCS, Wipro, and other IT companies. It depends on students how much they benefit from these internship opportunities. Professors are also involved in research purposes which students can join.

Placement Experience

Students are eligible for placements from the 7th semester. Several Multinational companies come to Kiit with almost a job for every student the only criterion is a decent CGPA. Almost 80% of students get placed considering lower packages. My plan is also to get a good placement.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees in Kiit is quite high but if someone is dedicated towards study then the fees might not be a concern for you as Kiit provides a scholarship for students who score under 1000 rank in the Kiit entrance exam and even nowadays government provides loan to students.

Campus Life

Every year the fest is organised once. And even there are many competitive events many charge some entry fee. The college provides all four year books and Kiit even has a very good collection of books in the library. Classrooms are provided with necessities. Almost all sports are available in Kiit. Kiits Robotics Society is run by Kiit students.

Hostel Facilities

Hostel comes in 2 categories like ac and non ac. Most cheapest room is 3 beded non ac which includes 3 beds and 3 person cupboard, a table and a chair with a bed. And most premiun has everything of 3 beded non ac but also ac and only 2 students in one room with attached washroom. Histel wardens are helpful. You need to enter hostel before 6:30pm after that entry is restricted.

Hostel Fee: INR 110000 per year

Admission

The application form was free of cost so nothing to worry about form fee. The form is easily available on the KIIT website, the registration starts after November. The exam is scheduled on different dates and times in 3 phases of which you can sit in many cities all over India. It's easy to score a good rank in the Kiit exam, just study. Kiit even takes admission based on JEE mains rank.

A well rounded campus life with industry oriented growth in college

Placement Experience:

placement at cv raman global university are good especially for cse/it . student becomes eligible from the 7th semester and compinies like TCS, infosys, wipro,capgemini, cognizant and ibm visit regularly. the highest package is around 15 lpa and average package about 4 to 5 lpa . aroud 80 to 90 % of cse/it student get placed. while non core branch recive fewer core offer but still get it/services opportunities. after my degree, i pland to start my carrier to higher studies for making me as a proffersor.

My Campus Life

Placement Experience:

After your 7th semi you will be eligible for campus placements Several reputed companies such as infosys,Wipro etc have visited our campus around my graduation time. The highest package offered was 6 LPA by infosys for the role of Data analyst while the average package stood at around 2.5 LPA to 3.2LPA . Approximately 60% or 6.5 CGPA secured students will be eligible for placements through campus drives. After obtaining my degree, I plan to Pursue higher studies like Mtech in a IIT'S or Niit hence i prepared for Gate 2 yrs .But meanwhile i was preparing for to get a job to take the responsibility of family so i started my carrer a a software developer.

The course is relevant enough to teach you all the basics you would require in engineering though some of the courses can be changed and in place of those new courses can be addded for example for non physics student teaching them quantum mechanincs and that too the old quantum mechanics doesent seem to make sense . KIIT has lost it's eminence and it's fame for quality education and good placement records

Placement Experience:

Placement record is not so good.. companies like Microsoft and Google have blacklisted KIIT due to poor performance and mismanagement by the KIIT in providing with the right candidates. KIIT shortlists students in basis of multiple tests taken on platforms like AMCAT and on that basics provides the profiles of best performing candidates to the companies invited for campus hirings regardless of the field and job specifications and requirements, so basically KIIT has a very below average performance Training and Placement Cell as they lack decision making and management skills to segregate candidates for hirings according to their skills and not by their general scores and CGPA. NOTE: Companies have shown least interest in KIIT for last 2 years and the poor performance of previous batches and mismanagement by KIIT authorities. KIIT promises 100% placements but that is actually far from reality.
