Likes

I like the college environment to be honest. The greenery of campus is very beautiful I never thought my college will have so many trees and would be so far spread.
I like the teachers who teach in our class they make the topic simple, except some of the teachers
I also like our hostel having a library which is open 24/7

Dislikes

I dislike the hostel staff and the hostel warden they are very rude and racist
I dislike the holidays given. College gives us very few holidays so less that we cannot visit our home

Course Curriculum Overview

I chose the BTech CSE course due to the pressure of my parents. I literally had no interest in computer science. The faculty and student ratio is overall alright. The faculty members are very qualified they all have PhDs and are well-educated. The teaching method is generally done through interactive classes and most of the time by means of PDF. The exams are very timely and very frequent and the difficulty is too hard.

Class Size: 100Course Fees: INR 250000 per year

Placement Experience

I have no idea from which semester students become eligible for campus placements. The name of the companies visited will be available on the kiit official website. The highest package from kiit was 50 lakhs and the average is 5 lakh. The percentage of students getting placement is very low 10 to 20% maybe.

Fees and Financial Aid

The cost of study at KIIT is very high. One cannot study without taking a loan from KIIT. I personally have taken a loan of 10 lakh. Yes, KIIT does give a scholarship. In 3000 batchmates but only the top 10 can get a scholarship of 10000 rupees. And unluckily I was the 11th one. there are income-based scholarships.

Campus Life

Life on campus is very tough for a hostel boarder. There is a central library which has all sources of books you can imagine but you are not allowed to enter into the library at all times, there is a particular time for entry. There are extracurricular activities but the first years are not able to access anything.

Hostel Facilities

The rooms in our hostel are small, with two fans to light three cupboards and 3 tables and three chairs and 3 beds. The quality of the meal is average and the menu varies for different days but the main food in our hostel is South Indian style. The registration process for a hostel is done with the admission.

Hostel Fee: INR 28000 per year

Admission

The admission process was easy and simple. I have entered through the mop-up round. I have appeared in the Kittee exam. The eligibility for getting computer science was under 10000 rank. The application form application fees and application fees will be available on the KIIT official website. There are no reservation benefits in KIIT.

A well rounded campus life with industry oriented growth in college

Placement Experience:

placement at cv raman global university are good especially for cse/it . student becomes eligible from the 7th semester and compinies like TCS, infosys, wipro,capgemini, cognizant and ibm visit regularly. the highest package is around 15 lpa and average package about 4 to 5 lpa . aroud 80 to 90 % of cse/it student get placed. while non core branch recive fewer core offer but still get it/services opportunities. after my degree, i pland to start my carrier to higher studies for making me as a proffersor.

My Campus Life

Placement Experience:

After your 7th semi you will be eligible for campus placements Several reputed companies such as infosys,Wipro etc have visited our campus around my graduation time. The highest package offered was 6 LPA by infosys for the role of Data analyst while the average package stood at around 2.5 LPA to 3.2LPA . Approximately 60% or 6.5 CGPA secured students will be eligible for placements through campus drives. After obtaining my degree, I plan to Pursue higher studies like Mtech in a IIT'S or Niit hence i prepared for Gate 2 yrs .But meanwhile i was preparing for to get a job to take the responsibility of family so i started my carrer a a software developer.

The course is relevant enough to teach you all the basics you would require in engineering though some of the courses can be changed and in place of those new courses can be addded for example for non physics student teaching them quantum mechanincs and that too the old quantum mechanics doesent seem to make sense . KIIT has lost it's eminence and it's fame for quality education and good placement records

Placement Experience:

Placement record is not so good.. companies like Microsoft and Google have blacklisted KIIT due to poor performance and mismanagement by the KIIT in providing with the right candidates. KIIT shortlists students in basis of multiple tests taken on platforms like AMCAT and on that basics provides the profiles of best performing candidates to the companies invited for campus hirings regardless of the field and job specifications and requirements, so basically KIIT has a very below average performance Training and Placement Cell as they lack decision making and management skills to segregate candidates for hirings according to their skills and not by their general scores and CGPA. NOTE: Companies have shown least interest in KIIT for last 2 years and the poor performance of previous batches and mismanagement by KIIT authorities. KIIT promises 100% placements but that is actually far from reality.

Navigating KIIT : a comprehensive review of facilities and experiences
