Likes

Hostel is very good and also internet facility of the hostel.
Class are very good with smart board and ac.
Sports facilities are also very good all sports courts are newly made.

Dislikes

Campus area is very small and also not fulluly constructed.
Connectivity to the college is not very good
Lack of extra curricular activities except sports very few events take place.

Course Curriculum Overview

Because I was interested in core electrical only that was the main reason for choosing this course. faculty to students around 1:10. All the faculties are highly qualified all faculties have done their Ph.D. exams are not that hard to pass.

Internships Opportunities

Many companies come for internship opportunities for 3rd-year students during the summer break. Our college offers both 2 months and 6 months internship. During the summer break of 2nd year, we can do projects or internships under any faculty or any other outside company.

Placement Experience

The placement of our college is quite good and the average package of the college in the last session was 17 LPA which is very good. And the percentage of students placed is 92% and the remaining 8% went for further studies.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure will depend on the annual income of your family there is a fee waiver for those above 5 lac annual income no waiver for 1-5 2/3 tuition fee will be waived and for those below 1 lac all the tuition fee is waived.

Campus Life

The classrooms are very good and well equipped with the latest technologies and smart board speakers too. The annual fest is not that good and only normal functions compromising of dance and dramas in a small open-air theatre.

Admission

I cleared Jee's mains exam and performed well enough to get a seat in electrical and electronics engineering at NIT Delhi. I was admitted to NIT Delhi through the general quota. Also, u can get a better branch if u have any category quota.

Good college for leaning and enjoy campus life.

Likes

College has many club and societies where you can get chance to participate.
College has good amenities for BTech students.
Faculty and college managements are supportive and helpful.

Dislikes

Location is bit away from metro station.
College should provide more free shuttle bus service from metro station.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is good. I do not feel very pressure. The course curriculum is design by GGSIPU. There is not spefific reason to choose to this course. It was my childhood dream to become computer engineer. I cant say that the curriculum prepares for real world applications because I am just second year students. The exam conducted on semester basis and its not very difficult.

Here in Jamia the faculty is very experienced in their fields , they make you feel Engineering and not to just read books. there teaching methods are amog the top in the nation
the curriculum not just focus on your engineering but also focuses on your personality development.
the infrastructure itself gives you the feel of oldness and the reputation of the college.

Dislikes

one bad thing is its less availability of Hostel rooms .
there is a very strict rule of 75% attendance .

Placement Experience:

Placements at Jamia Millia Islamia are not too high or too low and depend on the branch. Students can apply for placements starting from their 7th semester. Big companies like TCS, Infosys, Wipro, Accenture, and some startups come to recruit. The average salary offered is between 7 to 8 lakhs per year, but there are not many students who get higher packages. About 40 to 60 percent of students get placed. Many students also work on getting into higher studies or look for jobs outside the campus after they finish their degree.

Things I like is 1st the cafeteria food 😂🫶🏻 it is good.../tasty
and in classroom thier were 2 AC in a room and 5-8 fans..
they have sensors lights on building and lift.. well maintained library

I don't know about the placements.. because in this college it is 1st batch of b.tech they just started to offer b.tech.. my plans after getting degree to take a job then do that.. or before that if I get internship I will do that for experience

Supportive faculties in study wise and real growth support if you need it.
Labs and Syllabus are latest and up to date, so really not a problem on that. And if you do need components for yourself you can ask the college and get it easily

Dislikes

College on it's own doesn't do any Cultural events or Freshers, there's a lot of process and Headaches to get it.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course Curriculum for ECE in my clg is quite up to date and comprehensive, covering both core subjects and emerging areas of technology, which was a major factor in my decision to choose this branch. Course has a balanced theory with practical exposure, supported by great faculties guidance and well-maintained lab conditions. Also you get to choose the type of minor or specilaization you want to pursue after 1st year. Exams are conducted regularly after each semester, and levels are same as any engineering college would have.

I like the infrastructure of my college. College have provided us AC rooms with clean washrooms. Qualified teachers. Maintained decorum. Most important it is a government college.
Smart classes are available in every room. Cantens are available.
There are many labs for every subject either it's of EE, ECE, CSE

Dislikes

New college so there are no societies or clubs.
Fees is too high for general category students.
No facilities of hostel available in our college

I am an Electrical Engineering student. I chose this course because the demand for skilled Electrical Engineers is high leads to job security and also we can keep our options open for other fields by choosing this branch.

The Dream College Life

Likes

The campus is completely different from the whole city, it is more cleaner and is quiet peaceful with various different beautiful views at different points and is not too big so could easily walk through the campus.
Has really great architecture of the buildings and is surrounded by really intelligent people including some over the top profs and some really great minds from the country.
The night life is completely different and is one of the best part of staying in campus.

Dislikes

some of the hostels are quiet old and need renovation.

Placement Experience:

If you study passionately and have decent communication skills and some important competencies, I assure you that you will secure a position in a great company. Here at IIT Delhi, you earn what you work for; you can receive salary packages as high as 2 crores, but some offers start as low as 4 lakhs per annum.

Fully solar energy used for electricity in Hostel and campus
Wi-Fi is working properly and fast all over the area.
Hostel and hostel mess are neat, well managed and hygienic

Sports facilities are not too well in this campus
There is zero spot of E- vehicle charging.

This course is newly introduced by seeing the upgradation of the industry by involving AI & ML in that work, this campus and course doing great work. There should be improvement in lab classes only and Exam are done easy to moderate level.

I decided to go to NIT Delhi mainly for its prestige, NIT status, the variety of branches and the surrounding area of Delhi NCR that is more open to exposure and internships. Apart from that, I had also filled out the application forms of NIT Srinagar, IIIT Una, and DTU Delhi. I was given the go-ahead to take Mechanical at NIT Srinagar and the branch of IT at IIIT Una, but I still voted for NIT Delhi because of the strong preference of the branch, better placements, and that it is not far away from my house. Review about my first individual decision in life (NIT Delhi)

I got 99.31 percentile in JEE MAIN 2024 and 118 marks in JEE ADVANCED 2024 . Being a general category student, it is difficult for me to get into any of the IIT in a good branch( the same year there is an abrupt hike in cutoff marks nearly 20-30 marks than previous year) So I decided to get into NIT with a good branch rather than other courses that Im getting in new IITs Now my best available options are EEE in NIT warangal, ECE in NIT Calicut and ECE or CSE in NIT kurukshetra/ Delhi I was pssionate in choosing ECE branch as I was keen on learning about chips, and semiconductor devices and their wide applicability. So either I can to Calicut, kurukshetra or Delhi. I have choosen Delhi over the others as it is a capital city and there is a high exposure to industries. Calicut nd kurukshetra also offers a good and those are old NITs, but it is a bit difficult even for transportation and even flight charges are so high for Calicut from my home town (VSKP). So keeping all these things in mind I choose NIT Delhi ECE The admission into NIT Delhi is only though JEE MAINS, so score well minimum 99+ percentile to get a decent branch in NIT Delhi(for a general category student)...Read More
