Course Curriculum Overview

The faculty members are cooperative and everyone is quite highly educated and experienced. There are basically 4 CA and 2 PCA in one semester whose marks are added in the every semester examination. .

there are a lot of intern opportunities provided by the training and placement cell of the college. It also offers courses with reputed Companies to train students and get internships. they provide large domain courses and intern too.

The placement is good. it offers the basic placement of 3 lpa and maximum offered till date is 14lpa. the placements ratio is 89% and maximum students are placed. But if you are the unluckest then you can go for off campus also. '

Fees and Financial Aid

The academic fee is roughly 400000 including all semester fees. there are additional charges during the commencement of every year like examination fees and lab manual charges but the quality of education is top-notch.

Campus Life

The college has not got any huge campus it is situated among 3 buildings but there is a lot of enjoyment. the college conducts tech fest, and annual fest and there are many social clubs and societies to boost.

Admission

I got admission through WBJEE. The minimum eligibility is 65 % in Academics and a decent WBJEE rank for this college. This college provides 4 B.Tech courses( ECE, CSE, IT, and EE). The college is good.

I heard it from seniors that before lockdown it was pretty decent but after lockdown the company visits are not that much comapred to before lockdown.Cognizent, Accenture, Mindtree, PQ360 which is a startup company of our senior alumni etc. visits.

Placement Experience:

Well as far as mh knowledge students get to placements from 6th semester itself . Well there are placement classes from 3rd semester itself . The placement track record of the college is quite good with most year about 90% gets placed with good companies comming like Deloitte, EY GDS , JP MORGAN, Oracle , offering high amount of placement offers like around 20+ lpa . Well I am not sure about my plans maybe if the palacement is good I'll take it or will be preparing for GATE (Whose courses are also provided from college .)

The life in HITK

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for campus placement in cse, it ,ece and sometimes elec branches. The others dpt also offers a quite unique variety of placements from different companies. Nearly 60 percent of the students have been placed in this year and others are still on board for a positive response.

A Deep Dive into JGEC

Placement Experience:

From 4th year the students become eligible for on campus placements. Few companies that visited are BEL which offered 12lpa , wtw which also offered 12lpa , TCS which offered 9 lpa highest, and many more . Highest package offered this year was 54lpa by Microsoft (off campus) . On campus highest was BEL which offered 12 lpa , the average package is around 8 lpa . My plan is to prepare myself for government exams and get a job by the end of my 4th year .

I appeared for an entrance exam and I got a seat for CSE (data science) course at Techno International New Town. But I filled upgradation form and went for round 2. And I got a seat for Information Technology course at B. P. Poddar Institute of Management and Technology. So I took admission in this college rather than taking risks of going to round 3. At our college students can get admission by giving entrance exams like JEE Mains and WBJEE. Cutoffs for different courses vary every year.
