CSE Course has most demand in Placements and Salary wise. At Amrita University faculty and student ratio is 2:10. Every Faculty member has done PhD in their respective subjects and they try to clarify all doubts and the faculties are friendly.

Internships Opportunities

Amrita Bangalore Campus offers good Internships with a stipend of 25000 per month Amrita Students obtain paid internships at leading companies such as Microsoft, Google, Intel, Nokia etc. Internships are provided according to their interests like Machine Learning, Data Science, IoT, etc.

Placement Experience

4th Year Students are eligible for campus Placements. Companies like ORACLE, Google, and Microsoft, will offer good packages for students by conducting Placement Examinations and Interviews. The Highest Package is 40LPA. The average will be as 10LPA.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure is divided into 4 Slabs. Fees will be based on the branch you opted for and the rank secured by you. On average you should be ready to spend 1600000 to complete your B.Tech in Amrita CSE Branch in 4 years. You can apply for Education loans from banks.

Campus Life

Anokha is the Tech fest of Amrita conducted every year in the month of April. All Books related to courses taught at the University and all types of journals are available in the campus library. The GYM is available in the campus. Sports Competitions are happening Regularly.

Hostel Facilities

Hostels are provided on Campus. Each room will be provided with a bed and Rack, Study Table, and Chair. Non-veg food is not available on Campus and is also not allowed from outside. If we want Hostels we can pay a fee on the college website itself.

Hostel Fee: INR 51000 per year

Admission

To enter the AMRITA B.Tech colleges among 5 campuses we have to get a good rank in Amrita's AEEE Entrance Exam. We can apply for the exam on Amrita's official website and we have to pay 1000 as an entrance fee. No reservation benefits will be provided. You can also apply for admission by JEE Score.

From 6th semester we will get the placement assist .almost all mnc and top companies in india visits the college , namely cognizant ,oracle, tcs , infosys , capgemini , accenture , mu sigma , and many others along with startups . few companies offers direct fte roles, whereas few take students as interns and provide fte(full time employment).package will be between 3 to 36 lpa. rules during college placement drive are there will be 3 buckets , less than 7 lpa bucket 1 , 7-15 lpa bucket-2, above 15lpa bucket -3 , if a student gets any offer in specified bucket then he/she wont be eligible to apply for companies withe the salary range of that bucket. They provide international placement opportunities also , specially the zenken company collaboration , helps to get japan companies placement assist.

Placement Experience:

Generally I pefferd this college because of the college's reputation in placments . Students generally get placed into company's in 7th sem . Generally companies like TATA, IBM, Infosys, Amazon , Wistron, Accenture, Xoriant, Hp etc . generally 800 + students gets offers . Highest package is around 30+ Lpa and avearge package is 7 Lpa .MY plan is to try for both placements and also Gate examination

My life in Amrita as an Undergraduate

I applied to PESU in bengaluru, i wanted CSE but got into ECE so i chose AI and DS in Amrita over ECE in PESU. Also fees was lesser in Amrita compared to PESU. I wanted to apply for MIT, bangalore but since the college was very far and the fees was huge i diidnt apply, plus i already got into amrita by then. And since i am from bangalore and didnt want to leave the place i didnt try for colleges outside of bangalore. The admission process for my college is either through the entrance exam conducted by them which is AEEE or through JEE. I got in through JEE since it was better than my AEEE score. with a rank below 3k students might get into slab 1 for any course if they are from bangalore due to local quota....Read More
