Infrastructure, the campus area of 350 acres always gives a fell that there is yet to explore.
Peers you get here are the most divers you can get, since it is in the center of India students from all India come here.

Dislikes

The mess quality in recent days has been degraded vastly but it will be fixed by next tender.
Quite far from city, so it's a task itself to reach the city, although there are buses with minimal ticket fare provided by institute itself.
Professors here being from iits, ivy-leagues and nits come with a lot of ego baggage in classroom

Course Curriculum Overview

This course added to my interest in Computer science and its placement records were also glittery. The faculty to student ratio is aroun 1 on 60. The faculty here mostly comprises of people who have done their phd from foreign countries or from iits or nits. There are two term exams per semester midsem and endsem and 2 quizzes. They are quite easy to get passed if study just enough.

Class Size: 253Course Fees: INR 100000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure is around 1 lakh per semester which includes tuition, infrastructure, hostel and mess fees. There are multiple scholarships you can apply to, one such is the MCM scholarship which covers your whole tution fee if you are in the top 10% of your batch. There has been no fee hike since I joined the institution. There is no possibility of having a job on campus.

Campus Life

Campus life is quite chill, you get enough time to live your college life. There are clubs for each arts field and each sports field, and with a campus area of 350 acres, it is sufficient to do anything. Annual fests like Tarang happen each year, library which is large enough and is constantly updated is there in the computer center. Classes are in air-conditioned furnished theatres with at-par sound systems and projectors.

Admission

The eligibility of the CSE course in iiitdm Jabalpur is like that of any institute of national importance, you'll have to qualify for jee mains. The rank cutoff is around 14k for the cse stream and 24 for the ece stream. Reservation benifits are there for students with special quotas like obc/sc-st/PWD. The admission process is overall smooth and is looked after by JOSSA as for other iits and nits.

Average placements, Good infrastructure and Good placements

Placement Experience:

I think for 7th and 8th semister students are eligible for the campus placements. The companies like tcs, Amazon, Capgemini, D mart and etc and some other companies. The highest package is about 8 lacs and the lowest package around 2 lacs. The good number of students are placed in the college and like 20 to 40 percentage students have placed in college placements. After getting this degree I will try for a job or I will go for master's.

Life at OIST, Bhopal

Placement Experience:

In our college, placements take place in the final year of the course. By 7th semester, students are eligible to sit for placements. The placement opportunities are quite decent, an average package consists of 5 - 6 LPA every year. Several companies visit our campus like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Capgemini, Cisco, etc. Now, startups also started to visit for placements. Highest package has been 72 LPA, and every year in off campus as well, many students achieve high package like 8 - 12 LPA. Nearly 70% of students gets placed, also some students has other plans for their future. About me, I think of going for placements in my final year for which I have started preparation.

Excellent college and unbeatable placement

Placement Experience:

After 10th semester the student are available for campus placement Cap Gemini kpit Amazon apple and Google and many other companies are visited in my call is the average package of my college is 6 lakh and the highest package of my colleges 50 lakh about 17% students are getting of placement plan in the student a job is in the Google company average salary from reviews include that the average salary can be low despite Google placement are management of few reviews point out that the management is not always a student focused and from spectrum of the colleges operations could be improved college provider placement as compared to other colleges but college management are not good our very helpful for our students our colleges are very good and and facilities of placement but our colleges are not available in pure water in and drink not available in not available drinking water

My journey through Engineering and Campus Life

Placement Experience:

The placements are good and offer strong opportunities for both full time roles and internships. Students are eligible for placements from 2nd year. Most companies approach from 3rd year. Many reputed companies visit the campus for placements, inluding D.E Shaw, Goldmann Sachs, Flipkart, Meesho, Accenture. Many people are placed from college from cse, ece from other branches its quite less. Overall the placement ecosystem is highly supportive and prepares students for their professional careers.

I wanted a National college which should be government, according to my rank in JEE Mains I was getting other Nits and iiits and also some state government colleges but i preferred this because it is in my home city jabalpur No i didn't got any rejections i applied to because this college was my fiest priority and according to my interest.
