Course Curriculum Overview

I chose this course because I always had an interest in it. Faculty to student ratio is very nice. Qualification of faculty is also high level they are masters of their field. Term exams are timely and it is a bit difficult to pass them.

Internships Opportunities

There are a lot of companies like Atlassian, Capgemini, and many more A-listed companies that offer internships and PPO. But you have to work hard to get placed or get picked by one of these. Placements are nice.

Placement Experience

Campus placements are good here. Companies come here and mostly 100% of students get placed, but the competition is huge because here the strength is a lot so you have to do well if you want your future secured.

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees are a lot if you are from a middle-class background. They provide scholarships only to top students. You have to work too hard to get the scholarship here. I am also not satisfied with their financial assistance.

Campus Life

There are no annual fest and tech fest, never saw anything like this. They do conduct freshers. Libraries are nice and well maintained and you can use them to study 24*7. There are sports and clubs here but you can join sports only if you have played them before.

Hostel Facilities

Rooms are mostly small and the price depends on what kind of room you choose AC rooms cost more. Meal in a hostel is below average and poor. Hostels have timings which don't allow you to explore anything.

Hostel Fee: INR 28000 per year

Admission

You have to apply through JEE or you can take the KIITEE exam conducted by the college. I found out about it on YouTube. And for details you can go on kiit.ac.in, talking about reservation it is available only for SC and st and female candidates.

A well rounded campus life with industry oriented growth in college

Placement Experience:

placement at cv raman global university are good especially for cse/it . student becomes eligible from the 7th semester and compinies like TCS, infosys, wipro,capgemini, cognizant and ibm visit regularly. the highest package is around 15 lpa and average package about 4 to 5 lpa . aroud 80 to 90 % of cse/it student get placed. while non core branch recive fewer core offer but still get it/services opportunities. after my degree, i pland to start my carrier to higher studies for making me as a proffersor.

My Campus Life

Placement Experience:

After your 7th semi you will be eligible for campus placements Several reputed companies such as infosys,Wipro etc have visited our campus around my graduation time. The highest package offered was 6 LPA by infosys for the role of Data analyst while the average package stood at around 2.5 LPA to 3.2LPA . Approximately 60% or 6.5 CGPA secured students will be eligible for placements through campus drives. After obtaining my degree, I plan to Pursue higher studies like Mtech in a IIT'S or Niit hence i prepared for Gate 2 yrs .But meanwhile i was preparing for to get a job to take the responsibility of family so i started my carrer a a software developer.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course is relevant enough to teach you all the basics you would require in engineering though some of the courses can be changed and in place of those new courses can be addded for example for non physics student teaching them quantum mechanincs and that too the old quantum mechanics doesent seem to make sense . KIIT has lost it's eminence and it's fame for quality education and good placement records

Placement Experience:

Placement record is not so good.. companies like Microsoft and Google have blacklisted KIIT due to poor performance and mismanagement by the KIIT in providing with the right candidates. KIIT shortlists students in basis of multiple tests taken on platforms like AMCAT and on that basics provides the profiles of best performing candidates to the companies invited for campus hirings regardless of the field and job specifications and requirements, so basically KIIT has a very below average performance Training and Placement Cell as they lack decision making and management skills to segregate candidates for hirings according to their skills and not by their general scores and CGPA. NOTE: Companies have shown least interest in KIIT for last 2 years and the poor performance of previous batches and mismanagement by KIIT authorities. KIIT promises 100% placements but that is actually far from reality.
