Competitive environment which keeps us going .
24*7 water supply and unlimited wifi in hostel
Good coding related subject teachers who are also cooperative.

Dislikes

Mess food is not all satisfactory which is is big issue .
Cleanliness is not all satisfactory in our academic campus
Due to Temporary campus we do not have a ground but sports facility is improving

Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum is good, it is totally academic focused, teachers are average but some teachers are good. Teachers are qualified and have done PhDs from good universities. Exams were done timely and the level was also good to judge students.

Internships Opportunities

Companies like Yogabyte, Paypal, Nvidia, and Siemens visit our campus. Some students even got 1 lakh monthly internships. But one thing is to keep in mind the students who study seriously get results accordingly.

Placement Experience

Students of the prefinal, final year are eligible for placements, many companies visit our campus, the highest package given was 53 lpa by yogabyte and the average package for cse is around 18lpa. Almost every student who studies seriously gets placed.

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees are around 3 lakhs per year including hostel fees, which is slightly high compared to NITs. Scholarships are there for students in the pre-final and final year. Financial assistance is there for SC/ST students from the state's side.

Campus Life

Campus life is not good, as we do not have our own permanent campus but the campus in which we are now is good. various clubs are there in my college both for tech and non-tech. Infrastructure is poor but will be improved once our campus is made.

Admission

I gave Jee the main entrance exam, eligibility is 75% percent in 12th + The student has taken PCM in 10+2. Application forms can be fetched from the official site of JEE Main. No, I don't think we require any improvement in the admission process, but the official site can be improved.

Placement Experience:

From 7th Sem, students are eligible for placements and undergo placement training. Many companies has visited so far but the big ones are Godrej, BEL, Framatome, etc. The highest package for mechanical was 7.5 LPA and the avg package was around 5 LPA with a majority of job roles as GET. Almost 95% students are placed. I'm preparing for GATE ME for higher studies

SIT is best engineering college of Pune!!

Placement Experience:

If one wants direct placements in comapnies such as Wipro, Cognizant, Hexaware, TCS and many more, SIT is the place. Highest is still unbeatable as one student in 2023 got a paycheck of 50 lakhs per annum from SIT. Even the average is over 10 lakhs now as most students are placed through SIT placements cell.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course curriculum is also good and it is explained in detail on the college's website and there are labs for the courses which made learning fast and easy. Relevance(industry alignment)->8/10 The curriculum is designed to keep up with the industry needs especially in fast growing fields like computer science, management, design and pharmacy. Updated course such as AI, machine learning, cybersecurity, data science and 3D printing are included for tech students. Industry exposure depends on the students initiative it's not equally strong in every department. Comprehensiveness-> 7.5/10 First year courses focus on building strong basics in science, mathematics and communication skills. Later semesters introduce specialisation, electives, research projectsand soft skill training. The curriculum also includes personality development, entrepreneurship and innovation modules. A few departments could integrate new technologies fatser into the syllabus. This College was on my top priority as It is in the city Pune . The Emerging IT city in India . As the Name is IIIT it also attracts me . At the time of Counselling i have filled Branches in ECE of NIT and CS of IIIT . Initially i was alloted IIIT Bhopal but inn the 5th round IIIT Pune was alloted . My Parent was happy as Pune is Nice city. My College Infrastructure is Good but not as expected. If we compare my College to Private than it is far Good and all the facilites are nice. Yeah we can say that we are new but we can say that we are not less than New NIts. For Entrance in IIIT Pune You need to qualify the JEE Main Exam with Good Percentile. My experience of iiit pune

I also applied to cse at IIIT jabalpur and allahbad, and chemical engineering at nit Warangal but I couldn't get a seat there. I was also getting ece in iiit jabalpur and cse in spit mumbai but I decided to take iiit pune cse over it.
