Likes

Faculty are very good and helpful here,they are always available to support you.
College infrastructure is very good and very likable atmosphere for students.

Dislikes

Fees are little bit high and not affordable for common people.
Student are more in numbers specially in CSE department.
Placement can be organised with better techniques so that everyone gets equal opportunities.

Course Curriculum Overview

Course curricula are quite coded and well-organised and the faculty members are very helpful. Faculty members always try to give their best to the students. Maximum professors are PhD holders so they are very much knowledgeable. One bad thing about the curriculum is end sem exams are continuous there is no break or study leave in between.

Class Size: 70Course Fees: INR 350000 per year

Internships Opportunities

Internship opportunities are available for students from 7th semester onwards. Stipends depend from company to company some offers 60k to 80k whereas other offer 15k to 20k. But on average most companies come 25k stipend which is good to start with.

Placement Experience

From the 7th semester onward company started visiting campus. Students can start doing internships from the start of the 7th semester. On-campus placement is good, company offer a good package. But due to the large amount students it is very competitive to get through good company.

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees are quite high as compared to other college. Good company with handsome stipend and package comes to visit campus but due to a lot of students, it is very competitive to get good on-campus placement.

Campus Life

Campus life is quite good. The overall infrastructure of the college is likeable. You get lots of opportunities to excel in sports, there are different clubs to showcase your talent. Classrooms are neat and clean, they are very much focused on hygiene.

Admission

KIIT Conduct their test KIITEE to get admission to the university. However, they also take admission through jee mains. You can apply for tests and admission through KIIT's official website kiit.ac.in. KIIT also provide scholarship for students who come under 1000 on the entrance test. Tests are of basic level so chances of selection are high.

A well rounded campus life with industry oriented growth in college

Placement Experience:

placement at cv raman global university are good especially for cse/it . student becomes eligible from the 7th semester and compinies like TCS, infosys, wipro,capgemini, cognizant and ibm visit regularly. the highest package is around 15 lpa and average package about 4 to 5 lpa . aroud 80 to 90 % of cse/it student get placed. while non core branch recive fewer core offer but still get it/services opportunities. after my degree, i pland to start my carrier to higher studies for making me as a proffersor.

My Campus Life

Placement Experience:

After your 7th semi you will be eligible for campus placements Several reputed companies such as infosys,Wipro etc have visited our campus around my graduation time. The highest package offered was 6 LPA by infosys for the role of Data analyst while the average package stood at around 2.5 LPA to 3.2LPA . Approximately 60% or 6.5 CGPA secured students will be eligible for placements through campus drives. After obtaining my degree, I plan to Pursue higher studies like Mtech in a IIT'S or Niit hence i prepared for Gate 2 yrs .But meanwhile i was preparing for to get a job to take the responsibility of family so i started my carrer a a software developer.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course is relevant enough to teach you all the basics you would require in engineering though some of the courses can be changed and in place of those new courses can be addded for example for non physics student teaching them quantum mechanincs and that too the old quantum mechanics doesent seem to make sense . KIIT has lost it's eminence and it's fame for quality education and good placement records

Placement Experience:

Placement record is not so good.. companies like Microsoft and Google have blacklisted KIIT due to poor performance and mismanagement by the KIIT in providing with the right candidates. KIIT shortlists students in basis of multiple tests taken on platforms like AMCAT and on that basics provides the profiles of best performing candidates to the companies invited for campus hirings regardless of the field and job specifications and requirements, so basically KIIT has a very below average performance Training and Placement Cell as they lack decision making and management skills to segregate candidates for hirings according to their skills and not by their general scores and CGPA. NOTE: Companies have shown least interest in KIIT for last 2 years and the poor performance of previous batches and mismanagement by KIIT authorities. KIIT promises 100% placements but that is actually far from reality.
