Course Curriculum Overview
I am pursuing electrical engineering in IITH, and the course curriculum is very good. People who are willing to take electrical engineering will love the course here. The faculty provided is also amazing.
Internships Opportunities
There are many internship opportunities available in the campus. I can't say exactly about the types of internships and everything because I am a 1st-year student. but as per our seniors, the internship program is pretty good.
Placement Experience
Camo placements are also good on this campus, they provide various types of placements here, there is a high percentage of students getting placed in a job in campus interviews and the average package is around 24 lpa, and the average packages with respect to different branches change accordingly.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee structure for UG Btech students is around 161300 rupees for one semester. Which 100000 is tuition fee, The college provides a good number of campus jobs with very good placements and packages.
Campus Life
The social life is pretty good here. There are many clubs run by students for different purposes. There are clubs for dance, music, sci-tech, coding, aeronautics, and robotics. And the sports facilities are amazing too.
Hostel Facilities
The hostel room is decent, they provide double sharing rooms for 1st-year students, they provide 2cots, 2 cupboards, 2 desks, and 2 chairs, and each room is provided with 2 LAN ports for internet connectivity.
Admission
The admission process is through the jee advanced exam, to write the Jee Advanced exam, one must qualify for the Jee Mains exam, as per my knowledge 2023 open category cutoff is around the 90 percentile for qualifying for the advanced exam. The details related to the main exam are found on the official website of NTA(National Testing Agency). The official information about Jee Advanced will be present on the official website (jeeadv). The application process for the exam is also smooth. It can be easily applied to their website. For these exams reservation option is also present, students who are OBC, SC, ST can avail their reservation benefits by just entering their respective caste in the application form of the exam. I am an OBC noncremylayer candidate, it helped me a bit in my college selection. The admission process in IITH is very smooth, they will send an email through which the candidate can enter his/her information, and then another mail will be sent with the student's roll number and their college mail.
