Course Curriculum Overview

Faculty members are good in experience and teaching skills. They have a lot of knowledge about current technology. They're friendly and always helpful. But some are quite strict and egoistic about their post.

Internships Opportunities

Small startups and companies mainly give internships to students. Most students win hackathons to take an internship offer from companies Like LG and Amazon. The projects of our college are very good.

Placement Experience

There are nice placements in my college. Big big companies come to my college for placements. There is a lot of alumni of our college working as CEO of big big companies so they provide internships as well as a good package.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee for opening is 1,65000. But there is a scholarship available as per your category. It will be value for money to gain admission here. You will learn a lot of skills and other things in this college. However, the campus is quite small as per student capacity.

Campus Life

Colleges have different types of clubs and other activities. They are really good for developing our skills and other personality traits. A lot of fun is there in clubs. However, the campus is too small and not as developed as needed.

Admission

The exams required are MHT CET or Jee mains but fewer seats for Jee mains. MHT CET cutoff of last year is 97.000percentile and jee is also around 95. There is 50 per reservation for Minority seats and others for open, obc, sc, nt.

Placement Experience:

From 7th Sem, students are eligible for placements and undergo placement training. Many companies has visited so far but the big ones are Godrej, BEL, Framatome, etc. The highest package for mechanical was 7.5 LPA and the avg package was around 5 LPA with a majority of job roles as GET. Almost 95% students are placed. I'm preparing for GATE ME for higher studies

SIT is best engineering college of Pune!!

Placement Experience:

If one wants direct placements in comapnies such as Wipro, Cognizant, Hexaware, TCS and many more, SIT is the place. Highest is still unbeatable as one student in 2023 got a paycheck of 50 lakhs per annum from SIT. Even the average is over 10 lakhs now as most students are placed through SIT placements cell.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course curriculum is also good and it is explained in detail on the college's website and there are labs for the courses which made learning fast and easy. Relevance(industry alignment)->8/10 The curriculum is designed to keep up with the industry needs especially in fast growing fields like computer science, management, design and pharmacy. Updated course such as AI, machine learning, cybersecurity, data science and 3D printing are included for tech students. Industry exposure depends on the students initiative it's not equally strong in every department. Comprehensiveness-> 7.5/10 First year courses focus on building strong basics in science, mathematics and communication skills. Later semesters introduce specialisation, electives, research projectsand soft skill training. The curriculum also includes personality development, entrepreneurship and innovation modules. A few departments could integrate new technologies fatser into the syllabus.
