Likes

Student environment is good here .we can contact with professor.
There is lots of mall nearby for our personal need.
In bhubaneswar there is lots of place for visiting.

Dislikes

Some professor are very partial towards odia students.
Lots of pollution are here as there are many companies.
Hostel warden are very bad here they only accuse students.

Course Curriculum Overview

Some faculty members are very nice to the students but some of them are very arrogant and do not understand the student's conditions. I am in the 5th sem right now I have the bestest faculty in all these semesters. The faculty-students ratio is good.

Class Size: 68Course Fees: INR 350000 per year

Internships Opportunities

Dell, cme, Amazon, and many others came here with many opportunities for internships, and many of them got jobs in these companies as well. they came with HR, marketing, software development, and many other opportunities.

Placement Experience

From the 5th sem, we can apply for an internship. Lots of companies came here for internships like Dell, cme, Amazon, and many more. highest package was 520000 in 2022 and the average is 6-7 lakh.100% of students get placed here.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure is good for normal children as there will be 175000 per sem only tuition fees and if you opt for a hostel there will be 50500 per sem including the mess charge. campus jobs are quite good here as our senior got the job will satisfy package.

Campus Life

It is good here. If you join any society then there will be a huge chance of social interaction with seniors as well. As the tech fest and annual is done here in January and February it was very good. our college also provides a central library.

There is room available of 3 bedded and 2 bedded nonac as well as 3 bedded and 2 bedded ac. mess food is sometimes good or some time is worse. Registration for hostel, is available on kit's official website

Hostel Fee: INR 101000 per year

Admission

The admission form is available on the KIIT official website. There is no charge to fill out the application form. After filling out the application form there will be an entrance. Exam on the basis of the result and also the 12th percentage they will provide admission.

A well rounded campus life with industry oriented growth in college

Placement Experience:

placement at cv raman global university are good especially for cse/it . student becomes eligible from the 7th semester and compinies like TCS, infosys, wipro,capgemini, cognizant and ibm visit regularly. the highest package is around 15 lpa and average package about 4 to 5 lpa . aroud 80 to 90 % of cse/it student get placed. while non core branch recive fewer core offer but still get it/services opportunities. after my degree, i pland to start my carrier to higher studies for making me as a proffersor.

My Campus Life

Placement Experience:

After your 7th semi you will be eligible for campus placements Several reputed companies such as infosys,Wipro etc have visited our campus around my graduation time. The highest package offered was 6 LPA by infosys for the role of Data analyst while the average package stood at around 2.5 LPA to 3.2LPA . Approximately 60% or 6.5 CGPA secured students will be eligible for placements through campus drives. After obtaining my degree, I plan to Pursue higher studies like Mtech in a IIT'S or Niit hence i prepared for Gate 2 yrs .But meanwhile i was preparing for to get a job to take the responsibility of family so i started my carrer a a software developer.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course is relevant enough to teach you all the basics you would require in engineering though some of the courses can be changed and in place of those new courses can be addded for example for non physics student teaching them quantum mechanincs and that too the old quantum mechanics doesent seem to make sense . KIIT has lost it's eminence and it's fame for quality education and good placement records

Placement Experience:

Placement record is not so good.. companies like Microsoft and Google have blacklisted KIIT due to poor performance and mismanagement by the KIIT in providing with the right candidates. KIIT shortlists students in basis of multiple tests taken on platforms like AMCAT and on that basics provides the profiles of best performing candidates to the companies invited for campus hirings regardless of the field and job specifications and requirements, so basically KIIT has a very below average performance Training and Placement Cell as they lack decision making and management skills to segregate candidates for hirings according to their skills and not by their general scores and CGPA. NOTE: Companies have shown least interest in KIIT for last 2 years and the poor performance of previous batches and mismanagement by KIIT authorities. KIIT promises 100% placements but that is actually far from reality.
