Course Curriculum Overview

I want to do higher studies. My future goal is to do a PhD. It is great. They are very much familiar with students. They all are Ph.D. holders. On 6 month gap, the exam happens. Attendance is very much important.

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 6000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

In the first sem 7000 and the other three 6000. Here you can any govt scholarships, the professor will guide you to apply for other scholarships like Gandhi fellowship and all. To get financial guidance have to mail it on the university website.

Campus Life

The campus life was very good. It is full of greenery. The hole compound is surrounded by old trees, ponds, a library, We had a social called Muktodhara. Not only that there were goodbye and welcoming parties.

Hostel Facilities

The hostel facilities are also great. I am not a hosteler. But from the reference, I get to know that within 1000 rupees each month the student has to pay. And get two times meals daily. Each room is for two students with a bed, and desk.

Hostel Fee: INR 12000 per year

Admission

My last course was M.A. in Mass Communication and the institute was the University of Burdwan. Eligibility is to graduate from any stream. Application form , fees and dates application all you get from that https://buruniv.ac.in website Reservation will get obc-a, b, sc, st. Here is a 5% reservation.

Interview Experience

I got admitted in the year 2021. In the period of COVID-19. So there was not any admission test interview or gd round. But from this year hopefully, the admission will be started. So I did not have to prepare for the interview.

I want to go out of west bengal and study. And I also want to experience how to live in hostel and how the hostel Life is. That's why I go there. All courses curriculum and teaching methods are already very good. Exam is not so hard.

Homebound Forward with Jadavpur University

Placement Experience:

Most of the placements that took place at least for the literature departments ended up with people joining educational institutes and NGOs. Very few joined corporate enterprises like Accenture. But it does provide almost a 5 LPA, if well placed. It is academically rigorous, therefore academics are weighed more than industry.

Students are generally elegible for placement offers from 3rd year of UG program and 2nd Year of PG program. I-PAC, ecociate, ICICI Bank are our paste recruiters with an average package of nearly ?3.5 lakh annually. I-PAC made the highest package offer of ?400000 annually. The Pros and Cons of Joining Jadavpur University Masters of Arts in Economics

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for applying for internships after the 3rd semester, and students can apply for placements only after 4th semester. Companies like Ericsson, Ernst and Young, JPMG makes visits our department for mostly analyst roles for economic and fundamental trading decisions. The highest offer made was 45LPA while the average is 7.5LPA. The median pakage is 8LPA. Almost 90% students secure placements after completing their degree since the Training and placement cell is pretty proactive in securing good company visits. I plan for investing and analyst roles in banking companies. I would sit for placements hoping for the same.
