MIT honest review

I chose civil engineering because I have planned out my future, after Btech direct MBA and then startup of construction contracts. The faculty is good compared to others but some of the professors can be rude and arrogant considering the importance of their subject. Exam dates were released at the start of the year but it fluctuates depending on the situation at the college, if there are any elections being held or any event then it shifts a week or less.

All the big companies visit the campus in search of students or their new employees, I don't really care about that because I never will look for placement, I have my goal straight first btech then MBA and then start business, as simple as that.

MIT has the highest fees in the private sector but it is completely worth it because of the exposure you receive from this college. The companies which visit the campus during the placement period are all mega companies. There are many scholarship options depending on your score.

If you visit Pune everyone is going to suggest you visit Mit campus, because of the culture over here. The campus is just splendid, the infrastructure, the surroundings, and the atmosphere are just different. The library is up to date, you will find every book you want but only in the studying section, there rarely are any novels, you might be lucky to find one.

The faculty is really rude, they don't care where you are from or what culture you follow, they are kinda strict and maybe they should be because of the way children are. Registration process is simple you just have to reach them by any means call or email or direct visit and they will note down your details if there is a room empty you will be allotted to it immediately. Fees was 160000, but everything was provided. Transport from college to hostel and vicesa versa, there's wifi, food is good compared to others, and the rooms are pretty clea.

I applied through MHT-CET, and I also took an entrance examination which was provided by the college. All the applications and dates are mentioned on the college website. I don't know much about reservations because I come from an open category. I would prefer a change in the system because there is no coordination between the staff and the management.
