The tales of dyal Singh

I chose the course (bcom) as I have done my 12th in commerce and wanted to pursue CA along with bcom. The faculty members of my college are really nice all the teachers have done PhD in their respective fields and their are a total of 4 sections of my course containing 50 students in each section, semester exams are conducted every 4-5 months

Internships are provided according to the courses of students and roles are specified according to it, the stipend generally varies between 5-10 thousand moreover information regarding internships are also provided on the college website and various social media platform some of the companies that have offered internship opportunities include techowiz, investosure, upriver etc

The placements of my college are decent the students start getting placed after 2 second year the highest placement offered was about 23 LPA and average placement ranges between 5 to 6 LPA. The percentage of students getting placed is about 10- 15% and I will pursue my CA after completion of my degree.

As my college is part of DU the fees are very nominal about 15000 per year for my course Moreover, various scholarships are also provided by the government to financially weaker students and the placements are also very decent my college has a separate placement cell society which provides various internship opportunities.

Dyal Singh college has a total 33 societies any student can join as per their interest moreover an annual fest is also conducted in 3rd quarter of the year, dyal Singh College also has the largest library in the South Campus, and there is various sports facilities available like cricket, football, volleyball, basketball etc

I live in PG near my college it includes food, an air conditioner, laundry and wifi. The quality of food served is decent I get food 3 times (breakfast, lunch and dinner) one has to submit security money before renting PG and my PG is located near South Extension

For admission to Dyal Singh College, one must take the CUET exam as it's part of DU and after that, you have to fill in preferences according to the course on DU website & the cutoff for general candidates generally remains high and of course, if you have any reservation it will go down.
