I chose BSc (Hons.) Statistics course because from the start I wanted to kick start my career in the data analytics field and in my knowledge, this course is one of the best to get started. Generally, placements after undergraduate are a hard nut to crack but after post-graduation, you can land a decent job depending upon the job profile. A small proportion of students get placed after undergraduate. The average package received by the student for years 22-23 was 5LPA while the highest was 12LPA.

The fee of BSc (Hons.) Statistics can vary from 15000 to 18000 a year in different colleges of the University of Delhi. Although the course fee is nominal, but the living cost in Delhi can be a bit expensive. The university also rolls out various scholarships and financial assistance schemes from time to time, of which you'll be informed by the college website. You can also do interships/side hustle to earn some extra pocket expense.

You get all the basic facilities like- A fully furnished functional library, Cafeteria, Common room, Sports Complex/ Gymnasium, and Societies. Most of the college societies are very active be it the Dance Society, Music Societies or the Corporate Societies. Joining college societies will help you - Develop soft skills, Develop teamwork skills, and gain practical experience.

The hostel in Ramjas College is one of the best. Moreover, it is affordable and the hostel fee is nominal as compared to other living means. The meals offered are nutritious and hygienic. You also get high-speed wifi and a gym/sports room. Registration for the same is done once you join college. You'll be able to apply for hostels via your student portal once notifications are released. The menu is decided by the Hostel Mess Committee which is elected by the students themselves.

To pursue any course from the University of Delhi one needs to appear for the CUET (Common University Entrance Test). Eligibility of BSc (Hons.) Statistics: To apply for this course one needs to appear for Cuet in the following subjects. English + Mathematics + Any 2 domains from List B1 as mentioned on the CUET Website. Application form for the same is available on the website cuet.samarth.ac.in while the application fee can vary from 650 to 1200 depending upon the number of domains chosen by the candidate. Also if seeking a reservation one needs to upload a valid category certificate for the current year along with other documents: Xth Marksheet, XIIth Marksheet, and Category Certificate (If seeking reservation).
